Just had 20k km/12 mo. PMS done on my CRV S diesel at Honda Alabang. Initial estimate was P15,300 but ended up paying P11,168.77 because the fuel filter was out of stock. I was told by SA that I needed to come back to have fuel filter replaced otherwise my warranty might be affected. I blew my top when he said that because I took a leave just to have the PMS done...told him that it wasnÂ’t my fault the fuel filter was out of stock and that they should come to me to get it installed. Eventually he agreed to send people to my home to have fuel filter installed.
May threat pa kasi. Hay nako

Unfortunately, yes. Honda does not take actual distance driven into consideration (actual distance driven of my vehicle was about 6k km although the PMS was for 20k km/12 mos). I checked the diesel vs gas CRV cost of ownership computation done by ************ last Feb. 2018. They were spot on with the PMS cost:12 mos P15,575.62: 24 mos P16,760.62, 36 mos. P19,310.10.
Yes will update this thread if they will follow through on their promise to replace the fuel filter at my house.
By the way, for those experiencing the low frequency “kalampag” or clunking sound coming from the front suspension, I was told by the SA that Honda has a new guideline wherein they attach a noise detector to the vehicle when diagnosing strange noises. If the clunking sound does not reach a certain threshold (which of course they set), they will deem the offending “kalampag” as acceptable i.e., normal. What has happened to Honda? It seems their quality standards and customer service orientation has really gone down over the years.
