Marami ngang misleading sa manual.
I remember tinry ko yung method na naka-indicate sa manual kung panu mo ipprogram pag yung shifter is nasa "P", auto unlocked yung doors. Pero hindi gumana haha.
Kaya nauso yung mga plug-and-play OBD for that purpose.
Anybody have experience in changing coilovers sa city natin? I'm not after lowering but just wondering if there are aftermarket options that could make the ride more comfortable?

Does someone here have an email address or contact number of Honda's head office that I can contact? Gusto ko nang ireklamo itong Honda Pasig sa dami na ng palpak nila sa akin. Yung City ko, mag 9 months na pero hindi pa rin nila na-resolve yung mababang fuel consumption na I think may fault sa unit. Then last PMS ko na I asked my dad to bring to the casa, ang dami nilang unnecessary na charges na nilagay porke matanda siguro na they took advantage and he was billed P8k.
I think you meant to say: high fuel consumption.
What is the fuel consumption? what is the readout now? do you reset this often?
8k for maintenance? is this for the 10,000km/6mo visit?

FC is subjective.
Ilan ba average km/L?
City driving ba?
Eh baka panay traffic na route samahan mo pa ng mabigat na paa.
Re: PMS ganun talaga pag hindi pinaalis yung nasa JO, lahat yan gagawin at sisingilin.
Negosyo yan eh, kaya lagi sasamahan ng optionals. The fact na pumayag yung authorised rep mo, bakit ka mag rereklamo?
Next time ikaw nagdala for PMS or instruct your authorised rep on standard PMS lang dapat.
Pero like you, ako din may nad experience sa Honda Pasig naikwento ko na din dito sa Tsikot yun.

^agree with CNS' points.
Before you even complain about your fuel consumption - what's yout average fuel consumption and average speed? Both are easily available from your car's MID.
If you get 7-8 km/L with an average speed below 15 kph, that's pretty normal.
As to your PMS - your dad signed off so wala kayong habol diyan. It's common practice for ALL car dealers to charge more than they should unless you tell them not to.
Nakalagay sa manual ng kotse mo kung ano lang ang required per PMS. Have you or your dad checked the manual before bringing it to Honda?
Anyway, just giving realistic advice. Push mo yang pagcomplain mo if you want. [emoji28]

Besides, sa palagay ko P8k is not too way out there for a what, 40K or 60K PMS? Usually mas maraming trabaho talaga (at symepre mas magastos) ang 20K/40K/60K...PMS. Basta yung 20K intervals doon maraming required replacements. Check your maintenance schedule sa manual to verify. Kung walang kwentang extras naman… well your dad agreed to them so... too bad.
Share with us your driving conditions and how you measure your FC. Maybe we can put your FC in a better light.
Goodluck talaga.

i would just have had mineral oil and filter change.
less than 5K.
if they insist, i would say, "next time na lang. wala sa budget, e."
40,000 km PMS is really more expensive because you change a lot of fluids and filters. You can consult your manual for the things that need to be replaced at 40,000 km. But it still wouldn't reach 28k.
My 40,000 km PMS for my Civic was just 14.8k.

I have question about sa compressor ng aircon ng unit ko. sa tuwing aandar ung compressor den right after tumigil ung compression may parang 'tsuk' sound na parang sumisinok sya. is that normal?

just eyeballing that list, i could have halved the bill by crossing out some items that i am confident the car can do without.
except for the filter that i can wash, i wouldn't touch the aircon if it was still cooling fine.
no flushing.
no anti-anti.
but yes, it takes some "exposure", to discern what is necessary and what is optional.
