Question, 'di ko sure kung napag-usapan na dati 'to at 'di ko alam kung anung magandang search terms, kasi wala ako makita, hehe. Hindi ba talaga pwede i-lock yung City (keyless entry) habang umaandar yung engine? Tipong, lalabas ako kasi may bibilin lang saglit, kelangan ko pa patayin yung makina para ma-lock ko yung mga pinto...

Kapag sinusubukan ko i-lock gamit yung button sa door handle, mag-beep lang siya pero hindi magla-lock. Kapag naman pinipindot ko yung sa remote, wala naman nanagyayari. Ganun ba talaga?

You can't lock the doors while the key fob is inside.

Hindi ko pa natry is engine is running then lalabas ako ng car with the key fob.

May kabatch ako nung college naka GM 6 din.

ang kwento niya is nilabas niya car sa garage didnt turned off the engine, went back home.

Left key fob at home. Drove away. Nag prompt lang ng no key since malayo na siya sa bahay.

naibyahe niya car malabon to bulacan, bulacan to malabon. Hindi na lang niya tinry i-off engine.

(again kwento niya yan ha) unverified.

moral of the story? if lalabas saglit? turn off your engine and lock it.

Mga sir nagpa rustproofing pa ba kyo sa city nyo? Inalok kse ko ng SA ko kng gsto ko daw iparustproof. Sabi ko meron naman nang factory rustproof yan dba...sabi skn meron daw kaso manipis lang. Kelangan po ba talaga to?

Rustproofing is unnecessary and useless nowadays. Only the misinformed avail of this service.

Engine won't turn off if it's already running and the "key" fob is brought out of the car. If you turn off engine, you won't be able to turn it on again (obviously) without the "key" fob. It's one of the quirks of push button start and stop. The vehicle should warn you when this happens, usually with several beeps. It's your risk if you ignore the warning.

Has anyone tried leaving your smart key in the trunk and then closing it? Would it stay open kaya? Saw a youtube video of honda accord's smart key sa US and trunk would close then open again automatically. Not sure if we have the same system here.

Yeah, tinry ko na before. hindi magsasara yung trunk pag andun sa loob ng trunk ang susi. safety feature daw.

normally, change oil at check up lang naman ang mangyayari, tama po ba?
