Hello! Im not that familiar driving automatic transmission vehicles. Di ako masyadong sanay talaga sa automatic, although tried driving an automatic transmission CRV for quite sometime. I know that the "D" in the transmission is for normal driving for at grade road and for fair inclined road. My question is when should i used Drive 1 and Drive 2 in particular? Also whats the difference for Park and Neutral?![]()
1 or 2 for steep inclines and when traveling on decents (ie. from Baguio to Manila.) On decents, use 1 or 2 so that vehicle wouldn't pick up speed too quickly and the driver having to compensate this momentum by keep on braking too often (this overheats the brakes).
In "Neutral", the vehicle is not in any gear so flat surface, it can be pushed forward or backwards. On inclines, gravity pulls it down.
In "Park", the vehicle is held in stationary position by this gear. But relying on the "park" gear alone to hold the vehicle in place is not advisable (esp. on inclines). That's why always activate parking brakes first, before moving into "park".
Hi!where can i buy mugen grills yung bolt on lng n mugen door visors (replica version lng) thanks

does anyone here knows when would be the mid-cycle mods model of crv be released? 'have not seen any hint of its release anytime soon; neither in north america nor thailand. but an sa from honda cars quezon ave told me (just yesterday) that it is due to be released in march. any confirmation on this? anybody who has pics of the slight modifications, at least on the body? pls share. tia. cheers!
guys, what is the product code of KnN filter for 3rd gen 2.0 engine? thanks
Is it True that the RUBY RED PEARL is available only to 2.4variants lately???![]()
thanks number001...I, actually, told her that; since the new civic mmc (mid-cycle mod) had already been released in Thailand last fall. I actually did not believe her. I supposed the mmc CR-V will be launched this sept or october.
I remember you, number001, sa rav4 forum. as of today, i have not decided yet which one of these - rav4 4x2, crv 4x4, forester 2.0. I am almost tempted to get the rav4 since toyota finally offered a discount on the unit (20 to 30k). But when i heard about the crv mods, baka nga sakali malapit na, so it's worth waiting nga.
I was also thinking of buying the 4X2 2.0 A/T this February. Honda is giving a 40,000 pesos discount. Will there be a minor model change since they are now giving a discount for the 2008 model? If there will be a change, I think I will just wait for it. Thanks!
^naahh. They give discounts to move their inventory during slow sales period.
sky_runn3r, ganda ng CR-V mo!
all stock lang sa akin eh.
Ventoy, phased out na yung Ruby Red Pearl.
hEY! im new at this and i just want to ask a question. compared with the Nissan xtrail 4x2 2004 model, which is more fuel efficient? we are planning to buy the 3rd gen. crv but we are also trying to compare the fuel consumption with that of the nissan xtrail. thanks in advance
