Limited edition yung Racing Blue. Very rare. As in rare.

January 26th, 2011 04:17 PM #16talking about depreciation -- unless ibebenta mo yung kotse mo after 4 or 5 year, talo ka talaga when buying a brand new car. pero kung patatagalin mo for more than 5 year, di mo maramdaman ang depreciation na tinutukoy mo.
kung gusto mo ng porma at lakas sa gasolina, go mitsu. but if you want a fuel sipper and cookie cutter, the civic 1.8 is the way to go. mas mataas ang consumption ng MT sa everyday traffic sa manila; if you want to save on fuel, AT ang kunin mo. better yet, ask honda if they are going to release CR-Z in the philippines. it's their replacement for the now defunct CRX. it's a hybrid like no other. it's definitely not prius and neither insight. it offers 3 driving modes, Normal, Eco, and Sports. CRZ has MT or AT, but MT is more fun to drive. BTW, CRZ will cost less than the 1.8 Civic.
if i were you, add some more dough and get a brand new one. at least alam mo ang history ng kotse at sigurado ka na walang palya ang makina.

one more question - is it true mabigat DAW body ng FD civic for a 1.8 engine? para bang yung Sentra dati series 3 na body nilagyan ng 1.3L carburated engine parang sobrang takaw tuloy sa gas...

Obviously you don't know what you are talking about.
Honda made ads for the Civic 1.8L, "power of a 2.0 engine but fuel consumption of a 1.6L". Many people bought into it. Unfortunately those same people complained about the Civic 1.8L high fuel consumption like a 2.0L engine.
The Lancer EX 2.0L fuel consumption is actually pretty good for it's class (2.0L engine class). Some owners even manage 8km/L in their Lancer EX in Metro Manila traffic.
Somewhat expected from a rushed car from a first time carmaker
