My only experience with the Opus Dei is with repressed girls coming from an Opus Dei-run school from the south. All those years of conservatism can sometimes turn them wild in college.
let's dispense w/ all that religious rhetoric for a moment and concentrate on another time consuming kerfuffle for tomorrow is another ateneo-dlsu encounter! w/ erram apparently suspended for tomorrow's game, it's chua and golla who is going to be in the spotlight tomorrow. i'm sure it's going to be another long drawn-out affair w/ abanilla and co trying to rough-up slaughter in the paint so the onus would be on our bigs to make good tomorrow. are they tough enough for the job? i sure hope so anyway, i hope that ravena kid tomorrow will show them who's boss and run rings around their designated kiefer stopper/s. also, i hope to see buenafe make-up for his ill advised play in last wednesday's mma match obf! **props to the owner of the pic
^ Ou bigs held their own and actually put up a nice defense. Salava even had good scoring that cancelled momentum by DLSU. The backcourt delivered as usual and Ryan had abreak-out game. Final score, 77-67 FTW by AdMU. Good game from Jeron Teng, what a kid.
Buenafe finally got his game! Hangtime. I also got to watch live last Saturday. FEU however is really the rival of ADMU these past few seasons though as DLSU has been pretty much tame after the departure of the likes of Cardona, Casio and Meirhofer... Things really got ugly last Wednesday and what you saw on TV was sanitized compared to what you would see if you watched it live. The game was really physical and FEU was really just out there to hurt the Ateneo players even if the game was already decided. I heard the "Spitman" Bringas even went to the bus where the BBB cheerdancers were as he was looking to pick a fight with Slaughter. Dapat kinulung nila sa bus at hinampas na bass drum at beater. What an ****head.
what an awful game the blue eagles played yeserday. they came out lackadaisically and as a result, their collective asses were handed back to them in grand fashion. you gotta give it to the boys though, when they crash, they crash scandalously props to coach boyzie samar for instilling fire in his squad. that seldom used (by coach jerry codinera) belleza kid really torched ateneo by blazing the hoops for 28 big points. incredible but awkward shooting touch from beyond the trey! hopefully, this will sober up the boys from loyola and give them back their killer inctincts once again. obf!
^ And that, ladies and gentlemen, is your yearly Ateneo brainfart game. :D Yeah... Coach Zamar has a lot of axes to grind against Ateneo really. It was a good play that he did make and kudos to them. Too bad Ateneo was not thinking that time as they could have really prevented that (either by fouling or doing a Macky to Doug Kramer type play on the last inbound). Looking at the replay, was it Golla who was supposed to defend Javier in that last play? He seems to figure prominently in our loses. Remember his accidental tip-in for a UST two pointer in our first round, 1-point loss? :D
^ oo nga. it's their annual thursday flubbing. it never fails every year si golla nga iyon. i think he was preparing to help out on the cutting sumang (w/c almost everyone expected what he'd do) that's why he slackened off on javier. oh well, tomorrow we need to win against adamson - another team who incidentally has in it for us - to gain a foothold on that final r slot and the all-important twice-to-beat advantage obf!
^Well, we won a close game to Adamson. I hope Erram is okay. When we saw closeup shots of Philip Sison from fabilioh.com, it showed that one of the Adamson players actually pulled him down, that's why he fell. That could have been a serious injury (having a Greg Slaughter fall on you). Going back to the UE flub. Coach Norman said even he had some coaching lapses in that final sequence.
poy had a season ending acl injury pala yesterday - as confirmed by hardcore fans tonight. wishing him a speedy and full recovery sama ng timing kasi kung kelan siya nag-papakitang gilas, kung kelan pa nadali. oh well, i suppose that's how the cookie crumbles. i guess that's the cue for justin and frank the tank to strut their stuff once again
^Oh crap. Frank Golla better step up big time! Hope Poy recovers well from his injury Here's the shot sequence of Poy being pulled down by the Adamson player... and this caused him his injury.
