    Napanood ko lang sa TV patrol kanina, balak daw i amend ng LTO yung 1978 memo nila regarding heavily tinted vehicles at tataasan na daw yung multa. Hmmm, paano kaya na naman kaya ito?

    If they refund me the Php 5,000 or so I spent on my tint (which is in my dreams, btw), I would oblige to remove them.

    Anong reason kung bakit nila iooperate? Kung may sense/tama naman, go! Isama narin nila yung mga hindi makita ang plate #s.

    Lawless elements will just use blind vans (no windows to tint) or closed vans (no windows, too). Ganun lang kasimple iyan.

    Even in Korea, they found a way to go around legislation regarding tinted windows by installing curtains and sunshades. Tignan mo mga ibang Korean vans, may built-in rails na for curtains (e.g. Grace, MB100, Besta).

    yung heavily tinted lang ba? paano yung light tinted vehicles, sakop ba ito sa amendment na gagawin?

    unahin kaya nila yung mga public vehicles! Taxis Vans and FXs . . .

    Wag naman yung mga vehivles for private use. . . .

    Stupid Gov't wala na talaga magawang matino..

    Good law if talaga ngang HEAVILY tinted vehicles ang huhulihin.. mahirap dito pag maging parang emission testing na kahit hindi naman mausok eh talaga namang pauusukin para makakotong. Jeez...

    If for privacy, mga may one-way effect na tints na di naman ganun kadilim oks na eh IMO.

    For safety naman, perhaps this is the major issue to why this law should be ammended again. Andaming naaaksidente dahil di makita mabuti ung harap, gilid, at likod nila sa gabi dahil sa dilim ng tint nila. Just my .02

    bago nila hulihin ang mga pobreng car owners... hulihin muna nila ang mga nagbebenta ng dark tints... kumbaga hulihin sa source... hindi sa end user... parang droga... save the user jail the pusher.

    I think they have to define what is a dark tint, what are the parameters of the meaning of dark tint, not just guess in varying opinions among the enforcers. They have to establish a standard on what constitutes a dark tint.

    At the very least, they should give the motoring public ample time to remove/replace their dark tints. Some of us are very very busy and we barely have the time to have our tints removed/changed.

    At kung pwede dapat pa-tint na lang nila tayo ng V-Kool for free!
