When are they gonna finish paving over Macapagal Road from MOA to Coastal Mall (SB)?

That project has been way overdue for a year now. Nakakairitang isipin na hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin nila natatapos yun.

Got caught in the heavy downpour yesterday afternoon. Tumataas din pala tubig dyan near mia road. Had a few tense moments driving my mirage cvt through a deep portion of the flood. Stayed in "B" gear and hoped na hindi pasukin ng tubig baha. 1/4 ng rims lang naman abot yung tubig but with all the splashing from SUVs and buses...

Didn't know about the counterflow on the opposite lane.

We were there yesterday afternoon.... And saw the one-lane counterflow...

That was why when we drove back at around 8PM (talo DLSU sa FEU,- kaya uwian kaagad ang mga nanuod - kaunti na lang ang kumain at nagkwentuhan...

), we took the counterflow lane and noticed the many vehicles that were slowly navigating the potholes of the southbound lane....

Entered and left the counterflow lane, crossed the intersection and went past Uniwide Coastal Mall- in less than 2 minutes... Now,- that was fast.

The vehicles at Macapagal southbound were not crossing the intersection (they were a good 50meters away from the intersection) as they were caught up in the "pothole-challenge".

Banned na trucks sa macapagal. Roxas blvd na ang daan nila kaya hanggang ngayon sobrang traffic doon simula baclaran area. Sa macapagal naman wala ng traffic at ok pa naman daanan zipper lane.

Yep, kasalanan yan nung damuhong contractor na kinayod yung aspalto tapos pinabayaan na lang.

Update lang, maayos na uli siya ngayon pero as usual mukhang substandard yung ginamit na aspalto. May maliit na buta na naman na nagsisimula dun southbound side sa may tapat ng Caltex.

Ngayon ang cause ng traffic na uli sa Macapagal is yung mga potholes na naman sa may Marina papuntang Coastal.

Antagal na nung mga potholes na yan sa may Marina. Bottleneck na nga dahil 2 lanes lang puro lubak pa. Sino ba may responsibility sa area na to?

And just this evening may mga ogag na nag-counterflow. Halos kainin na nila lahat ng lanes sa harap ng Icon Hotel.

Not sure pero I think it is a private road?

Lumalaki na naman yung potholes dun sa may caltex. The only good news is mukhang finishing touches na lang yung sa on ramp, natanggal na yung ibang barriers kaya medyo lumuwag na yung part na going to and from Coastal Mall.

correct me if i'm wrong isn't this the same road made by arroyo worth half a billion pesos?
