Diskarteng uv express yung sa airport road, hehe. Mas mabilis nga kapag liliko pa-coastal coming from mia road kfc.
We were there Saturday afternoon... It was a good thing that I didn't drive our car, rather, one of our taller vehicles...

Nadale ako dyan the other night. Inabot kami ng more than an hour sa traffic dyan. Ang lalaki ng butas. Tapos yung no. of lanes pa dun sa ginagawang flyover beside uniwide, lumiit pa dahil dun sa concrete footings na nilamon sa kalsada......hayyyzz.
May daan bang iba? Sabi pwede daw left turn diretso tambo na, labas ng airport rd. Masubukan nga next time.
Ang ginagawa ko:
1) Binabaybay ang Macapagal Ave, left turn to EDSA
2) Right turn to Roxas Blvd, stay sa inner lane or 2nd from the island
3) Left turn to Airport Road
4.1) Right turn to Tambo or
4.2.1) Right turn to Domestic Road, then Sucat Road (tuloy-tuloy lang), then right turn to C-5 Extension (in between SM Sucat Blgds A & B) or (pa more)
4.2.2) Right turn to Domestic Road, then Sucat Road, then Multinational Ave, then C-5 Extension. Pulang Lupa ang lusot hanggang Alabang Zapote.

wala say ang dpwh.. reclamations company daw ang may-say diyan.
even then! i believe proper government should step in, because whoever is legally charged with its repair, clearly doesn't care to do so. at the inconvenience of the public.
i am confident there are rules favoring public convenience are written somewhere.. we just have to look for them and plaster it on the dpwh's door.

Department of Transportation and Communications Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya has promised to repair Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City and ease traffic, according to Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson. No repairs have been done however, Singson added.
Even government officials are complaining of the slow action of concerned agencies to fix the broken sections of Macapagal Avenue, which have been causing heavy traffic.
Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson said he received text messages from Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares complaining of the condition of Macapagal Avenue which she uses on her way home.
Singson said he already discussed the problem several times with Transportation Secretary Joseph Abaya whom, he noted, was in charge of the reclamation area.
“Sabi ko kung pwede kami magpapagawa dahil pare-pareho tayong gobyerno at minumura na tayo katakot takot n’yan,” Singson told reporters after attending a budget hearing at the Senate on Tuesday.
“Sabi niya (Abaya), hindi na. Nakontrata na namin yan dahil COA (Commission on Audit) did not want them to touch that road dahil may overpricing issue nga dyan sa Macapagal boulevard na dati pa,” he added.
“Well sabi nya kinontra na nya, so pinabayaan ko na. Pero hanggang ngayon …” the public works secretary said.
Singson explained that the area was not a national road and the Department of Works and Highway, which he heads, could not just take over it.

So, ayaw gawin ni dpwh.
Fix it first, sort out the overpricing later. Kung issue yung pangalan ng kalsada someone should file a petition to name it something else.
So issue pala yung overpricing noon at pangalan nung kalsada, kaya ayaw i-repair? Nak ng teteng, napakababaw namang dahilan nyan.
