Road Rage nanaman! I remember last aug 14 2011 the day after my wedding akala ko katapusan ko na at isang gabi lang akong magiging married man. i was following this toyota revo tapos sa harap nya bus. e yung bus siraulo nagantay ng pasahero sa gitna ng kalsada tapos sa kanan maraming jeep so wala na kaming choice ni revo kung hindi mag antay. then ako since nakita ko sa kasalubong na lane walang sasakyan. i went ahead. sumunod si revo.

pero nakakagulat don hinabol nya ako at cinut tapos binuksan nya yung bintana " he was saying something tapos motioning his right hand nilabas sa bintana na parang kinakalabit yung gatilyo. i just ignored him pero sa sarili ko kabado na ako hindi ko kasi alam kung bagong modus ba ito kasi i know for sure wala akong masamang ginawa sa kanya. then he went ahead still nasa likod parin nya ako mga wala pang 1 min nung cinut nya ako. mya mya huminto ulit as in full stop sya sa gitna ng kalsada at maluwag naman yung daan,so ako no choice kasi sa rightside may mga vendor hindi pwedeng dumaan, sa left naman may mga kasalubong nadin. pinagpawisan ako ng malamig nito sa 8 years na pag ddrive ko ngayon lang ako naka encounter ng ganinto kabaliw. paghinto nya thank god hindi naman bumaba or ano umandar narin sya. pinalayo ko nalang muna sya para hindi na kami magkita ulit. pero nag dadasal ako sa sarili ko sabi ko "Lord kung kkuhanin nyo na ako sana naman nakabuo kami ni misis kagabi para may maiwan naman ako sa kanya" heheh ingats lang sa daan mga sir maraming baliw sa kalsada

Haha! Nakita ka siguro kaya hindi na bumaba. Matapang lang pag nasa kotse.

I usually leave a cheap PS camera that takes AA batteries in my car. It has proven to be effective in making escort motorcycle cops leave me alone. Whenever one comes along by my side, waving me off to give away to some paying delusionary VIP wannabe, I roll down my window and hold the camera high in his direction. That is always good enough to make him leave immediately.

Come to think of it, since I never have to actually take a pic, even an old non-working film-based throw-away camera should do the trick.

As to whether this will be an effective deterrent against potential road ragers, I am not sure. Haven't had the chance to find out and I hope I never will.

just make sure that you can't be seen when using the camera.... The anger might be redirected towards you.....

Magandang deterrent, katana o kaya long sword. Pag nilusob ka, ilabas mo, most likely matatawa sayo yung kalaban mo, kung hindi naman slash slash ka lang just to keep him at bay dont hurt him, vie for time till mahimasmasan siya at mag back off or till a crowd builds up sigurado may aawat na nun at unlike firearms na pwede ka makadamay ng bystanders or might instantly kill your opponent which most likely will make you end up in jail. Wag mo lang payagan maagaw sayo, in that unlikely event napaka lampa mo umuwi ka nalang.

Yup, deadly weapon pa din. Alam ko puwede yung arnis or batuta ng mga sekyu. Defensive weapon kasi.
