At dahil nga nasa Pilipinas tayo.. Talo kapag nagmakaawa..

    extra defensive driving

Car placement in our roads is very important. make sure plenty of gap is available in front and on the sides. There are case where you really have to block your side or front to protect possible impact from kamotes.

The next thing is proper side mirror adjustment. too many focus looking at their car instead of their blind spots.

super dark tint also hides these kamotes. if you see them maybe you can give then an inch or two to prevent impact.

Yes Sir, I'll take note of that.. So true po about blind spots.. Kaya back to relax and maging defensive na lang ulet..

[emoji56] [emoji41]

in moving traffic, keeping plenty of distance from the front lets your look at your mirrors with more confidence.

I wonder if your driving school did promote SAE side mirror adjustment though.

Mindful po ako baka may sudden stop din, meron akong enough time to react..

Kahit businahan ako ng businahan basta focus lang, maging patient and love your fellow men (wag lang daw motorist kasi kasama pedestrian) [emoji4]

Also, just want to share the 2 or 3 second rule. In short no tail gaiting and maintain safe distance at any speed unless in stop and go traffic.

    Ingat po sa daan sir.

Thanks Sir... Sobrang sarap siguro mag drive kapag lahat ay may courtesy, patience and responsible driving attitude..

Stay inside and in the middle of your lane,- do not drive in the middle of 2 lanes.

Do not hug the passing lane.

If slow, stay on the right lane and let the faster vehicles pass...

We also have to inculcate lane and speed disciplines in our driving culture.

The instructors in these driving schools ignorantly teach the student drivers to stay in the leftmost (passing lane) even if they drive slowly (and to keep their cool)... This is very wrong!!!

Nood ka nung mga dashcam vids so you'll be aware of the kinds of accidents that happen on the road. The dashcam thread here has suggestions on how they could have been avoided. Learn from the mistakes of others.

dzbb radyo has a daily program at 4 pm.
puro road accidents, for a variety of reasons.
sometimes, it is simply hilarious, sometimes mang-gigigil ka ng sa inis, sometimes you will be speechlessly surprised...
sometimes you will be thinking, "...buti nga!"

Hehehehe

Opo.. For months po nanonood ako.. Meron akong nakitang Korean Show na "Men in Black Box".. Very educational po yung show..

i would very much welcome this: New House Bill seeks to make drivers not initially liable in accidents! https://www.autoindustriya.com/auto-...accidents.html

    Speaking of motorcycles:
Hotter temperatures and motorcycles threaten urban air quality, says new TRUE report - The Real Urban Emissions

    Motorcycles and other L-category vehicles

L-category vehicle fuel-specific emissions (grams per kilogram of fuel consumed) are up to 11.1 times higher for CO emissions and 6.1 times higher for NOX emissions compared to average petrol passenger car emissions.

While fuel-specific emissions of CO and NOX from L-category vehicles have declined with the implementation of more stringent Euro standards, they have trailed behind passenger cars, and L-category standards only go up to Euro 4.

Considering vehicles only certified to current standards (Euro 4 and Euro respectively), CO emissions are almost 10 times those of both Euro 6 diesel and petrol cars, and NOx emissions are three times those of Euro 6 petrol cars.
And this was for a study conducted in Europe. I bet our stuff is even worse.

Too many PASAWAY motorcycle RIDERS on the street
