September 20th, 2008 10:18 AM #24I also agree that sometimes, modifications are made to make your car perform better. the ones being sold at the dealer are sometimes trimmed down so the product could fit the buyer's budget. low end models are usually equipped less than the higher end ones thus changing some parts will definitely improve the car's performance.

ever thought of double taxation, eto yun katumbas niyan sa aftermarket parts. like i said before, kahit anong pangagatwiran ang gawin, if it's a law, it's a law. the authorities like to find faults in people para magamit nila authority nila. so it's either you follow and pay or you dont follow and get penalized.
----
and also, wag na mag-pinpoint sa marginalized people in our society. they are "excused". they are excused bec. they have no money to pay. kaya pinapalusot ang jeepneys, ang squatter na nag-tamper ng kuryente etc. etc.. kasi wala naman mapapakinabangan sa kanila, sayang lang effort.
the Peso sign of the authorities are the middle class, kasi yun may pera pang-modify at yun ang class na sobrang expressive and would spend money to express themselves either in cars or houses or satus quo or whatever you can call it. the rich dont really modify their cars bec. they just buy the most expensive there is. parang isang tingin pa lang, off limits na ang mga authorities kase ma-koneksyon yan.
so if you're feeling artistic/scientific about your car, then prepare to be "taxed".

Good intentioned but poorly prepared AO tuloy ang kinalabasan.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
