If you're measuring heights, and one guy guesses he's five foot five, and you're all the same height... does that mean you really are all five foot five? (I've met guys shorter than me who claim to be five foot six... amusingly). You can't assume that because all the speedometers agree, they're correct. It can also mean they're off by the same amount. Again, almost all cars have speedometers that are exactly 5% fast.
Like jut says, only way to know for sure is to use a GPS-based measuring device, like a smartphone.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Tried waze and speedometer comparo earlier. Looks like 2-3 kph slower yung speedometer * speeds over 80-90kph. May lag lang ng konti yung sa waze (split second) reading, btw steady rpm and speed ko yun ginawa. (Obviously not an accurate measurement but a good basis din naman pala yung speedometer).
^ lest we forget, the discrepancy here is- 31 kph. and supposedly they got that thing only last April. 😟
Yes tama 31kph un dagdag haha take note un may ari din ng volvo sabi niya un nag test daw slex sa 24 oras news flat daw un radar na gamit tapos sa tv patrol pinakita vertical so anu radar ba talaga ginamit. Haha
Nabasa ko lang sa comment niya dun sa video ni james
Sa video, makita na yung speedometer reading ng volvo is even higher than the Garmin GPS speed by +3 to 5 km/h to which it was compared. So actual speed ng driver is even less than 100kph in reality.
So WTF pano nangyari na overspeeding yung volvo by a whopping +31 kph? Nawala credibility ng SLEX, at engot talaga SLEX kung di nila ayusin itong problema na ito at the soonest possible time.
Pero malabo naman aminin ng SLEX publicly mali tao nila o equipment nila as like James Deakin commented, it opens SLEX to possible class action suit from people they wronged in the past. Tsk. tsk.
Sa isang interview na nakita ko, sabi niya he was caught 5x using 2 vehicles, both vehicles on cruise control even.

^^ may dashcam bang may gps speed na output? Or kelangan pang itutok sa gps mo yung dashcam para sa recording? Sorry noob question
