Montero or any other fast truck based SUV + overspeeding or sleepy driver + low railing is a very bad combination

I'm a satisfied Montero owner knowing its strong points and weaknesses.

Monty's teka teka transmission sucks at Acceleration. But once it reach the desired velocity, it has no problem maintaining it. Given its suspension and heavy steering, u wouldnt feel much difference whether you are running 100 or 160 IN A STRAIGHT LINE.

But the same heavy steering and suspension suck big time at curves. Add the big tires and pathetic skyway railing and it really will fly like a monster truck.

Kaya nilagyan ko ng drivepro yung oto. Para kahit naga antok ang driver, magwa warning pag nagswerve ka or sobrang lapit sa oto sa unahan, at high speed, naglagay din ako ng warning pag lampas 100kmh na.

Curves at high speed is the bane of truck-based SUV ... im not saying monty or truck-based SUV is bad. There are Advantages, but you also have to be aware of its weaknesses.
