Side Mirror Stolen in Park Square

I was thinking nga of folding the side mirror whenever I park. Sa Level 8 ako nag park, yung mag bridge going to SM. Nakakataka nga kasi puno parati yung parking na yun saka maraming tao kasi may upuan din for drivers.

That level is dimly lit... very dusty..... rooftop leaking when it rains.... and always full of cars...

I'd suggest:

1. New carpark atop Anson's... in between Landmark and Shangrila..
2. Greenbelt 1 parking.
3. Glorietta 2 (??) underground parking, infront of 6750.
4. Glorietta 4 underground parking.
5. New Greenbelt underground parking.

may market kasi hence they steal side mirrors. they steal from you and then off you go to your nearest surplus shop where you probably end up buying your own mirror. etching would help but do you really think they would bother to look if the mirrors are etched, especially in the dark.

2. I heard in the news that crime rate goes up as Christmas approaches, to the MAGNANAKAWS - don't celebrate Christmas if you can't afford it. It is not society's fault that you are poor. Don't give me the "victim" excuse. I know a lot of people who are poor and yet live with integrity and these are the people that I admire.

honga naman! heads up for those as_es. malaking issue na ba ang hindi makapag celeb ng pasko kaya kailangan pang magnakaw? sana may online forums din mga pulubing-yun-na-walang-magawang-matino-at-marangal-sa-buhay at mabasa nila ito. kung kami nga normal lang na family na naghihirap eh nakaranas ng ganung kalungkot na pasko more than 4x, sila pa kayang mga mas pulubi? pwede namang gumawa ng ibang bagay na mapapagkakitaan at marangal pa kesa naman magnakaw diba! kaya lalong dumudumi tingin ng mga tao sa mga taong tulad nila eh..

When mine were stolen, I replaced them with Taiwan made. Kahit na manakaw ulit hindi gaanong masama ang loob ko. Nung nananakaw ulit, I bought another Taiwan made. They more than half cheaper than the originals. Hindi nga lang pulido ang salamin but they serve the purpose.

Naku, sa level 8 rin kami almost always nagpapark. I thought pa naman it happened in other levels. Busy level rin pa naman nga ito.

Yung sa megamall naman parking at Building B nadali ang side mirror ng friend ko. Upper 3rd floor yun at tanghaling tapat nagkita kami. pagbalik nya sa car, wala na yung left side mirror nya. Sinita ko yung guard at sabi ko marami palang nagnanakaw dito sa mega!

Ayun di na kami tuloy pinagbayad ng parking.... Nagwala kase kaibigan ko eh.. hehehe talagang sinadyang pinarinig sa mga tao na nanakawan sya ng side mirrors sa parking ng megamall mismo! ehehe

When I still have my big body corolla the Toyota emblem was stolen while parked infront of a chinese resto in welcome rotunda where jollibee now stands. Bought an oem emblem and only installed it when I was about to sell the car.

How do they get the mirrors out? Do they just use their fingers to pull it out or a tool? If they just use their fingers to pull it out I would take a razor blade and super glue it to the sides/back of the mirror itself so if they stick their finger in there they will be in for a surprise. Better yet coat the blade with something that will poison them once it slices their fingers.

Parking here is a big business. Double whammy sa mga customers. Even the hospital parking areas are no longer free.

Guards are there to deter but not to eliminate robbery and theft. They couldn't guard each and every vehicle. The thief would only time that no guard's around and pull his trick.

ano pa purpose of having guards at parking areas kung di naman nila sine secure at minomonitor? might as well mag assign na lang sila ng tao na taga check na lang ng ticket ng true owners ng nagpark ng car instead kung ayaw nila paramihin secu per parking level/area. wala na kasi difference magpark sa kung saan saan na lang diba kung parehas ka lang pala nananakawan. i never thought na pati yang area na yan eh tinitira ng mga magnanakaw..

Kamay lang gamit nila. Pinipitik nila using their bare hands, and you'd be surprised how fast they can do it. Dati sa corner ng Araneta Ave. and E. Rodriguez Extension nadale ako ng ganyan while waiting for the stoplight to turn green. Sa bilis ng pumitik ng side mirror ko, I did not know what hit me. Grabe talaga mga taong ito. Poverty is not an excuse to turn to crime.

Notorious ang Makati Medical sa ganiyan kaya kami we'd rather go to Medical City kahit na 10 minutes away lang ang Makati Med samin. Highway robbery kasi parking fees sa kanila eh. Di naman maganda yung hospital parati na lang akong hinahapo tuwing pupunta ko dun kasi STAIRS kami parati.

Sana naman wag mag charge ang Metro Walk for parking kasi yun na lang ang alam ko na libre ang parking eh

Push the inside top corner in, pull the outside lower corner out. Be careful about the blade + poison thing, lest you be the one who gets hurt if you forget about it.

Same thing with MB hood stars. I'm on my third star, others have suggested sharpening the "spokes" since it's not obvious to the untrained eye. If the thief grabs it and cuts himself he might even go berserk on the rest of the car and ruin the whole thing. I'd rather they take out the star and leave the car alone. Same thing with side mirrors.

Same reason they steal Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, (insert car name) emblems and logos. In the 70's/80's they were stolen to be made into necklaces (hippies) at least dito daw ganun ang ginagawa. Kung dyan baka napagtripan lang. Alam mo naman Pinoy ugali, inggitero/a. "Porket naka Chedeng..." and the list never ends.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, some people just don't give a damn.

kung hindi man necklaces, nilalagay nila yun sa ibang kind of transportation device like sa mga tricycle at mga shuttle type na transpo like yung anfra and the likes. tawa nga ako dati yung ibang nasasakyan kong tryc merong revo tamaraw fx na emblem at yung mas malupit pa dun, merong landcruiser na emblem
