I taught the goverment has the capability to intercept Cell phone conversation. Have we forgotten "Hello Garci?"... And as if the intelligence community hasn't been bugging her phone already, since Ces is considered part of the "hostile" media network.

Dunno if you guys will believe these bits of information but it comes from a very good source.
When Mayor Isnaji and his son, Haider, were arrested in Manila, the Mayor supposedly sent his goons to detain the news crew of ABS-CBN who were covering the event so that he can use them to bargain for his release. The goons came to "escort" the team to the residence of the Mayor. One of the reporters were able to call the marine ground commander to request for "protection". The news team was eventually able to leave Jolo but only after being escorted by a battalion of marines from their hotel.
The bandits who kidnapped Ces Drilon and her camera crew were mostly teenagers or young adult muslim males. It was determined later on that these were children of ex-Abu-Sayyaf Group members whose fathers have died in clashes with government troops.
Prof. Dinampo was not being detained and, in fact, was relatively free to leave the kidnappers' lair anytime he wished. But, he stayed behind since he thought it was his responsiblity to see to it that nothing bad happened to Ces Drilon.
Part of the ransom money was financed by ABS-CBN (well, duh?) but was coursed through another person to deflect any criticism heaped on the network giant.Last edited by Altis6453; June 27th, 2008 at 08:54 AM.

kaya dapat hindi "rebelde" ang tawag sa mga yan.
wala naman sila pinaglalaban na cause.
They are just plain criminals. Heavily armed nga lang...

I totally agree, I don't trust muslims, sabihin niyo ng racist , I don't care...traydor yan mga yan, basta catholic ka pag nakaaway mo muslim din kahit nasa tama ka ikaw pa rin ang mali for them...
the only religion that justify killing...
and nagtataka lang ako why nagiigng issue ang ransom? so what kung nagbayad ang ABS CBN? so what kung nagbayad ang family ni Ces drilon...it's not taken from anyone else or from tax payer's money...
ano rin problema kung nag papasikat si Legarda, at least maeron siyang nagawa at nakatulong unlike other politicians...in fact I don' think she volunteered for the job, the family of Drillon and top occificials of ch 2 asked her...
I don't care kung propaganda niya yun for 2010, at least meron NAGAWA in this occasion...
nagtaka lang ako bakit si Legarda ang tinawagan ng Ch 2 instead na si VP Noli?Last edited by shadow; June 27th, 2008 at 10:30 AM.
