July 29th, 2016 11:30 AM #253There are people who can hardly handle so much stressors that they snap.
Take for example of one who had been waiting for a long time for his turn in a long queue in a parking lot only to be told by the attendant to pay for the time he spent waiting.
People of diverse backgrounds react differently to stress.
Better to hold off judgment after getting all the facts. Vernon Sarne learned that lesson the hard way.

July 29th, 2016 11:57 AM #258PNP just revoked the license for the 3 guns he owns. If he doesn't surrender them by today, they will be considered illegal/loose firearms.

Just sharing my experience here. In the last few years, I can remember 4 encounters with motorbikes and bicycles hitting our rides....
1. I was waiting for the green light in a road intersecting Zap-Alab Rd,- a delivery motorbike with a cube carrier at the back, hit the driver's side mirror of our van. I called his attention by blasting the horn and he stopped and apologized by looking back at me and waving his hand (he is front of our vehicle) and I opened my window and looked at the side mirror, while shaking my head and just waved back at him to keep on rolling..
2. I was on a stop and go traffic at Roxas Blvd when a motorcycle hit the back of our car - he stopped. But when I opened the door to inspect the incident,- the motorcyle just fled away and I could only muster a few oral invectives. Did not give chase as I know it is futile and I will be late for my date with our kid. I was telling myself that it was good that I didn't get off the car,- carrying a stick or something because I could have whacked the irresponsible fleeing driver to oblivion.
3. I was on a stop and go traffic in Naga Rd, when a motorcycle hit the back of our bigger van. I was not able to get off the van to inspect the damage,- because the driver just sped away as if nothing happened. Could not give chase as it was futile, because of the traffic. It was good that I was able to rub off the damage on the rear bumper. The driver looked to me like he was high on alcohol or drugs... Mga ganitong klase ang dapat na ma-sampolan..
4. Recently, I was waiting for the green light along Kaingin Rd (intersection with Multinational Ave), when a bicycle hit our suv at the back and just went on his merry way to C5, even if I was calling his attention by blasting the horn. Too bad for him the light turned green and worse vs me,- I was able to catch up with him. Worst vs me,- my evil-half took over and I alighted from our vehicle and confronted him,- and he was vehemently denying that he hit our vehicle, even if I showed him what he did. Anyway, a fresh gust of air and my 50%-at-best good-half took over and I just let him go... Our encounter was only barely a minute as I judged that I am not going to achieve anything with my short-sighted action.
Bottomline is,- bros,- these people should be responsible for their actions,- but almost all of them (based on my limited personal experience), are not. And we could only do so much ourselves....
So, keep a level head with your actions on the road.
