RPG is the solution... hahaha
Yup! Thats the car I posted about!
No wonder garapal mag drive.. Wish we had lawmakers that would actually abide by the rules and not make themselves feel important..
Soooo safe to say that the money that was spent on "Foiling" that Sequoia is the public's money? Oh wait.. "allowances" given to them to serve the people better..
On my way home along C5 last night, i encountered a black Pajero with two Police bikes, a brand new Hiace Commuter, and three black 10th gen Altises with red plates as escorts. Buti naman at maayos sila (pauwi na siguro si boss). They were fast but were not running cars off the road; kung may nakaharang, they'd just wait it out until the vehicle would move aside.
I dont get it why people put euro plates ehh nasa pilipinas ka diba? Dapat we should love our own
Actually, I also do not understand the concept of putting EU plates on the back even for pogi points. But many people do it all the same.. diba Ken? :naughty2:
I am not against people spending lavishly on their cars naman. Since some people actually work hard to get to where they are. However, I am pissed against people who wield their power recklessly or irresponsibly.. like how I saw a Camry with a red plate since I'd rather not pay for HIS gas costs (I took the plate number at iaangal ko sana pero di ko mahanap yun picture). But as with all society, meron talagang 99% and the 1%. There will always be a class disparity between ones with influence and ones that doesn't.
As for the Estrada clan, we know they're pretty prominent. I'm affiliated with them to a certain extent on business ties and talagang may pera yanonly a few clans are capable of ordering 15 million shirts for the coming election purposes on 50% DP (I later walked away sa deal.. profit margin was crap). But not everything is smooth sailing, successors to the clan are really groomed at a young age. A friend of mine is being groomed na nga for future politics (Estrada clan aiming for presidency again) and he's only 20! Sana naman good ethics tinuturo... not how-to-profit-while-in-office.
Thankfully, mas-conscious mga politicans here in Metro Manila ever since the Ampatuan disaster. The Ampatuans were considered untouchable at the height of their power. Buti nalang nagka-national coverage yun massacre but it should give you a picture on how it is sa Philippines. It's not democracy but really just defy-me-and-die autocracy.
I guess a lot of political families are inspired by Joseph P. Kennedy eh. :D All over, it's common to see offspring of elected and appointed officials already trying to find their way into politics. With things going that way, from the time of our grandparents to our grandchildren, names of those in power will hardly change. No offense to your friend but the thought that as early as now politico families are already grooming offspring for the Presidency shows that political clans just cannot relinquish power anymore or see their elected positions as a monarchial birthright, and all we can hope for is they evolve for the better. My opinion with the Estradas though, you will never know how it will be after Erap moves on since it's Erap who really holds the clout with the masses.
With all these (GMA, Ampatuan, CJ Corona, et. al.) cases, do expect political personas to wisen up all the more with how they run business and launder their money.
Ano back up vehicle? LC80 and JDM vans?
Si Miriam naka S-class.

Just my recent experience inside Fort Boni just after SPD HQ Global City bound, traffic was really bumper to bumper going to Sales bridge then a white car went out of the third lane blocking my path head on. I did not make a move since i am on my right of way when the driver got out of the car and gestured to me to get out of the way, but what can i do, his car where already infront of mine. My wife then pleaded for me to just "back-off" to avoid any trouble which i accommodated. I then look at my back to see if there is still ample space for me to back off but to my total surprise when i again look at my front, a man brandishing his side arm and an armalite is already in front of my vehicle. waaaaaaaaahhhhhh i was really shocked and dismayed since even it was dark, on his belt was his badge.
Nawala nga ang wang wang but uso pa rin ang mga "un-uniformed goons"..... what a night....di ko na nga lang nakuha yung plate no. nung jeep na naka-convoy sa white car kung saan nakasakay pala si Rambo dahil nag-hysteria na sa takot ang mrs. ko and my first instinct is just to get out of the place to pacify her.
Hehe since speaking of plates na rin pala, I saw a Mazda 3 earlier kanina with a mazda gh dealer plate sa harap... Sabi ko this cant be a new car... To my surprise ayun pagdaan nya may plaka pala tas coding pa!
road kings (the untouchables) din siguro ang mga ganito (pasintabi po sa mga matitinong pulis):
while waiting for the green light. may pumwesto sa pedestrian lane... pulis na walang helmet, then after a while may mga MC din.. nakatingin sa kanya... yung lispu lang kasi ang di nakahelmet.
i remember tuloy yung article sa top gear philippines... police din involved :
"Don't you get pulled over by the cops for not wearing a helmet?"
"Ay, hindi naman nila ako pwedeng hulihin; pulis ako" ["Oh, they can't apprehend me; I'm a policeman"].

I guess being a cop makes you invincible :D It's more fun in the Philippines!
i always see this convoy of a recent model black landcruiser and black pajero with 8 plates running red lights or making illegal u turns.
they're off to defend earth or poo or probably go to some ball with other great public servants.
