Sinundan ko from a distance just to see what happens to him and ayun, yung isang Xtrail na tinutukan niya, binilisan habang sobrang tumututok pa rin si EK then nung may delivery truck silang inabutan (pero hindi kita ni EK dahil sa sobrang tutok niya), at the last moment nag swerve si Xtrail to the middle lane, muntikan sumalpok si kupal EK sa likod ng truck.

And delikado rin yun, pano kung biglang mag-brake yung nasa harap because of whatever reason.

Kapag ako may gusto ako patabihin, from afar I flash my headlights na. Kung ayaw tumabi I maintain a quite safe distance from the car in front of me and give him a few beeps and flashes for him to go to the middle lane. Kung ayaw, because sadly not all understand what OVERTAKING lanes are FOR and how does it work, ako nalang lilipat sa middle lane then magoovertake from the right.

Meron akong nakitang YT video na ganyan na nangyari sa Sctex ( ata ), the EK was speeding mga 224kph yata then suddenly a CRV swerved to the left for NO REASON at all.

    EDIT: Here's the video

Forward to 1:08 to see the CRV do its stupidity.

Sira ulo talaga yung EK.

Same here, when i encounter someone sleeping on the passing lane, i flash my lights (one flash) and wait if he'll go aside. If he doesnt get it, i signal to pass him on the right and i tap my horn when im beside him, when i pass him, i either stay on the right lane since it's open or i signal and switch back to the passing lane. Sayang nga, before NLEX was quite active in apprehending lane hogs, ngayon parang hindi na.

I don't know why some love hogging the left lane when the center lane is really the safest lane to be on. It gives you better visibility of the road up ahead, you have options to go either left or right in the event of an emergency maneuver, and when it rains there are less water puddles to make you hydroplane.

mali ata pagtabi nung red EK (at 2:06)... instead na sa right, sa leftmost gumilid!? o nag-alangan na sya? (ba't kasi sa passing lane nakababad... )

Its not safe to run that fast at sctex. Since its a two lane road, there is no much room to avoid swerving vehicles. I heard a story from my nephew regarding their group going to subic for a car show event which i believe kasali sila but everything went terribly wrong when a fortuner side sweep the groups lead car which was a brand new santa fe and half their convoy was damaged due to the pile up. They were running 160kph when this accident happened.

I saw pics of this before also. Another thing to be cautious about on SCTEX in the Clark - Subic side are strong crosswinds.

Well, what's new. It's an EK. :rofl01:

Once, while I was speeding up (~140-150kph) at Star Tollway I saw a car on my left side mirror going faster than my speed. Then boom! There goes a Civic SiR. Not long enough, there was a CRV catching up -- maybe he's trying to do a "kill" on the EK.

Several minutes later, I caught up to them at the same exit. If only I weren't with my family, I would've tried catching up with those two. I'm driving a car with some potential to keep up anyway.

And, it's Star Tollway, and knowing the roads there. It pretty much hurts your butt and your suspension when you speed up.

It's either nagpapaka-tanga yung mga tao or sadyang tanga talaga.

NLEX, SLEX, SCTEX, StarTol or even CAVITEX. Iniinvade ng mga idiots na yan.

Maybe the latter. Siguro tingin niya the cam car would not bother flashing his lights, else, it would just overtake him using the right lane. True enough, you didn't see the cam car give a f*ck about the hoggers. Inoovertake-an niya nalang para walang hassle.

Everything's risky when it's not clear. Things go safer when it is. If you're smart enough, you would hardly try to reach your limits when there are several cars around which are trying to keep up with you. If someone was trying to keep up with me, I'd not mind. However, if we're side by side. I'd either pass him or slow down to lose him.

Hindi rin naman masyadong matao ang SCTEX so it's technically safe. Same goes with NLEX. On SLEX, depends on the day.

Yung Santa Fe, natotal wreck yan. And if I'm not mistaken he's with an Altis and a RAV4. They were, if I remember correctly, heading to Fontana for the car show.

The Fortuner side swiped the Santa Fe, the Santa Fe rolled over. The rest of the convoy crashes on it.

I believe the Alto club saw the crash personally as they were heading to the same destination.

BTT: Yung mga di alam yung right-of-way rule kapag nagkasalubong kayo sa intersection (from different roads).

Dapat ang bulabugin nya yung nasa overtaking (inner) lane, but if you want to be courteous e pwede ka namang magbigay. Unless kung ang KPH mo e less than 60, that case nasa outer (right) most lane ka dapat.

Ave.

Pumunta ako ng Tagaytay kahapon and of course I encountered several discourteous drivers along the way.

Una nung nasa Xavierville ako, since two way road yun sa side mirror ko may nakikita akong nag-ccounterflow na Navara.

Maka-ilang beses na rin siya muntikan ma-bunggo because of his recklessness. Overtake niya puro alanganin, tapos mahilig mang-cut.

It's a beige Navara with a carryboy (ithink) roll bar and a KAPATID sticker. tsk.

Second, the infamous overtaking lane hoggers. And they are composed of technically slow vehicles, namely, an Urvan, a Crosswind, a beat up FX and many more. I tried flashing them, as I were at speeds of 120-130kph but they didn't budge, hence, I was left with no option but to take the remaining lanes. And I almost gave in to the temptation of using the shoulder to overtake. But then, I was left with some patience and patiently cruised at 100kph.
