OT: Kakainggit talaga mga vehicles ng mga nasa govt, they can really afford to buy them... Pero on a side note, di pala ako dapat mainggit.. sa laki ng tax na binabawas sa suweldo ko,, tingin ko me portion ng perang pinagpaguran ko ang kanyang Landcruiser.

If that's true, then almost all private owned vehicles would have installed a "wang wang". Truth is hindi lahat ganyan mag-isip, in fact kinaiinisan ang mga may "wang wang", they are branded as mayabang at nagpupulis-pulisan. That's why PNoy's desire to get rid of the "wang wang" is very popular among the motorists.

agree with all of this, but to me sana pati ang mga PUV tinarget din ni PNOY. wang-wang, yes karamihan ng gumagamit sobra ang yabang pero pag bigyan mo lang sila tapos na. pero ang PUV they are a road hazard, pinaka malaking cause ng acccident yan satin eh, biglang stop sa gitna para mag sakay or mag baba, biglang change lane with out turn signals, sisingit kahit di kasya biggest cause of accidents sa traffic sila din, haharangan lane mo or intersection kasi nag aantay ng passenger. ano ba dapat ang priority, mga mayabang sa daan or PUV's that cause a lot of accidents? only in the philippines na inuuna ang mayabang kesa sa cause of accidents/traffic.

In case ma-apprehend tayo,,, ano kaya basic response/approach natin mga sirs? Im using the 3k lime color HID Head... (Kinabahan ako ha..)

ui, thanks for the advise sir SG re 4.3K.. might really consider changing it na... i regularly travel back home at night kasi mid-shift ako,,

naranasan ko na rin ma apprehend nung election days dahil ala pa yung 2010 sticker ko, and while the police is inspecting my front lic plate, nakita 2 stebel nautilus horn ko,, then pagsilip sa dash ko ni-pindot bigla horn ko,, then he smiled mumbling,, "SOP lang sir, baka kasi may wang-wang kayo e",,, fortunately enough, the previous owner already stripped the siren off, before selling it to me... at nandun pa sa dash ko yung 3-way switch "horn-off-siren"..

    Di rin.

Siguro, marami gumagamit ng wang-wang dito ... pero mas marami pa din ang singit ng singit na riders. :peace:

Dapat ... hulihin rin yung riders na hawak lang nila yung helmet.

Exactly sir,, daym no law as far as I know here in Pinas so far re HID... Pero like what I've mentioned,, sinama kasi nila sa order of battle yung mga Foggies,, e, knowing how our enforcers mind works sometimes, they generalize the law,, say sort of -- "Foggies are light, and your head light is a light perse"..

good thing, ito nalang siguro standard challenge ko sa kanila incase unfortunate na masita ako --- that no law currently in writing which prohibits the use of HID...

I don't think so. AFAIK, aftermarket HIDs in the US are illegal.

Dami na kong minura, dinuro at binato ng barya na nakasalubong or nakabuntot sa akin na may HIDs before. Langya naman kasi, walang proper projector housing. Talagang nakakabulag. Kahit pa medyo dark yung tints ko sa harapan at likod. Alangan naman na ako pa ang ma-disgrasya samantalang di naman ako ang nakaka-perwisyo.

LOL pati ba bodyguard gusto niya ipagbawal?

Just to share, I drove through Commonwealth up to Regalado. It's a mess there, PUV drivers just simply turn a deaf ear to my blaring horn. Counterflow galore for buses. Hirap ng walang karga.

IMHO, they should first go after those imbecile PUV drivers and riders who are the true road hazards of Metro Manila.

That's what most people don't like, the feeling of being pushed around (I am referring to private vehicles with sirens of course). I'd rather give way to a PUV swerving like hell on the road, because he is working his ass out, than to a private vehicle using his siren just to be ahead of you, and for what reason? because he has a siren, but that's just me .

Banning of the sirens and other gadgets that shows "am a big fish, get out of my way" (for private vehicles of course) is somewhat an equalizer. Lahat tayo nata-traffic, diskarte lang yan sa pagmamaneho, ika nga ni Bogan...
