    here is my story with Rapide (central luzon)
    had an oil change last april at ang ginamit ay Delo oil at purolator na filter. sabi ko s mechanic e 5 liters lng ilagay mo at take home ko n lng ung 1 liter kc nga 5 liter ung normal level. at sa kadahilanan na ung promo nila s oil change e 6 liter (i think) ung kasama s package. so yosi muna me sa tabi habang nagaantay at mejomejo nakikipagusap din ung manager s akin. so nung mejo tumagal nagdesisyon na rin akong ipalinis preno.at nung natapos na ung pagfill ng oil e tinanong ko ung isang mech kung nasan ung 1 liter n iuuwi ko.sabi ba nman e "nilagay ko n lahat sir s makina kc madami nagleleak sa sides ng makino mo". alam kong may leak kaya araw araw ko chinecheck ang oil level. ako tuloy napatanong kung mekaniko ba talaga ito o simpleng natuto lng s baklas-kabit at basta basta n lng sumabak. sabi ko e "d m ba alam na masama na puno ng oil ang makina?" he was silent. i added "parang isang swimmer under water na napakabilis sumisid at s sobrang bilis e nakapagcreate sya ng mga bubbles". he was still silent. pero saka lng umaksyon nung sinabi ko n bawasan mo n lng ung oil. hanggat maari din e iniiwasan ko rin makipagargue e baka pagtripan pa ride ko e hindi pa tapos ang linis preno. at isa pa nung ikakabit na yung mga gulong, napansin ko n ung isang mechanic e parang nakawelding na yata ung daliri s handheld na pneumatic driver para sa pagtanggal ng turnilyo.un pala naloloose thread n ung stud. e nung tinanggal nila ung gulong e wala pang loose thread. kaya sabi ko s sarili ko "WALA NG ULITAN TO!"....

    parang mahirap na balik yung tiwala ng tao sa rapide. theres too much negative stories and no action. they say na meron na sila customer service program since 2006? where are the results?

    para sakin, better kung bigyan ng warranty lahat ng gawa. not the crappy warranty na maraming excuse kung ibalik... keso iba na yung sira etc etc. warranty na naayos yung sira. kung may papalitan na pyesa, sagot na ng rapide dapat. get good mechanics para pin point na yung sira. hell, mechanics in pasay are far better than those of rapide. wala sila masyado gamit pero hahanapin talaga yung sira.

    In this book, maiintindihan nyo how scams takes place, how to avoid it.

    Mga "Bait and switch tactics" (Free repairs daw) yung payroll system nila sa employee that actually motivates them to replace parts that are not needed.
    (So called "productivity goals")
    US base ang book. Midas was mentioned a lot and I believe the system is just as the same with rapide. Parang local franchise sa atin ang rapide.

    Here is one thought that has gone through many car owner's mind:

    Why should we even give the questionable service quality/honesty at Rapide a try when there are so many other car service shops out there who have good or the best reputations and recommendations with other car owners?

    Even if you say you are trying to improve the service quality at Rapide, the problems & questionable jobs done seems to be ever present even up to jobs done today, as expressed by a car owner who posted his experience at Top Gear Phil forums and many others right here in tsikot forums.

    But this past few weeks dami nagpapagawa specially detailing sa RAPIDE Quezon Ave.. near sto. domingo. Hanggang labas yung ppila ng sasakyan!
