    i always go to Rapide for my car maintenance. so far, no problem encountered. ako pa nga ang "hard" customer nila eh. Kita naman nila, kung gaano naman ako ka-loyal sa kanila.

    kung puno yung pasay road branch, you may alternatively go to dasma branch right across Hotel Niko. it is at the Petron Gas Station.

    Di ba sila yung Midas before and they were holding the brand name before it was changed to Rapide?

    I could trust Midas because they are an international brand. With Rapide, I think the operations is severely mismanaged.

    Even MIDAS is not a trusted brand sa U.S. Usually, mga walang alam sa sasakyan ang mahilig magpunta sa kanila. hehehe.

    Guys, kabibili ko lang ng second hand na car (civic 96 vti) and lumubog yung clutch nya. Alam ko naman na maraming bad feedback sa Rapide, kaso sya na yung pinakamalapit na shop na nadaanan ko. Hirap na rin kasi tumakbo yung kotse kasi hirap na kumambyo.

    Sinigil ako ng 12,000 sa palit ng clutch master at slave! Medyo na dismaya na ko sa presyo kasi ang liit na pyesa ganun na kamahal kaso since wala na ko magawa at gusto ko na maayos yung kotse ko, pumayag nako.

    Ngayon nagtanong ako sa Honda makati kung magkano yung price nila nun, and 5600 lang yung dalawa! Sarap hagisan ng granada yung Rapide na yan!

    Tanong ko lang kung me habol paba ko dun sa ginoyo sakin or charge to experience nalang?

    sad to say charge to experience nalang yan...they just took advantage of you dahil kelangan mo na talaga...grabe talaga taga dyan sa rapide..

    Crap, ito ang mahirap satin. Hindi natin alam ang gagawin kapag na gancho tayo. Usually, hinahayaan na lang... Alam na alam ito ng mga ganyang shops kaya tuloy tuloy ang ligaya nila.

    Pano naman ang consumer rights natin?

    you signed the conforme, and you signed the release form right? that means you agreed to the price quoted, and that the car repairs were done to the satisfaction of the customer.

    if you go to the courts, talo ka no matter what.

    hinde mo na makukuha yung money overcharged to you.

    the best you can do is to let other car owners know what happened to you. by posting here in tsikot, i believe they just lost another couple of potential customers.

    don't forget to indicate the branch to be specific and date and time if possible.

    this way, other potential customers will be forewarned and fore-armed. and your experience will not be in vain.

    Read on Page 21 Article 48b [SIZE=2]
    b) that when the consumer transaction was entered into, the price grossly exceeded the price at

    Even if I signed anything from them, kitang kita naman na overpriced ang pinabayad nila sakin. Given this, tumawag ako sa kanila kanina... I just dont like seeing myself helpless kahit very obvious naman na naloko ako. And lumakas loob ko nung nabasa ko yan...

    Eto ang conversation namin:

    Me: Sir, nagpagawa ako sa inyo two weeks ako ng clutch master and slave, and nagbayad ako ng 12,000 for that service. Overpriced yata sya, sino pwede kong kausapin tungkol dito.

    Rapide: Sandali lang po, tawagin ko lang ang supervisor ko.

    Rapide (Sup): Yes sir, ano pong problem natin?

    Me: (ulit lang) Sir, nagpagawa ako sa inyo two weeks ako ng clutch master and slave, and nagbayad ako ng 12,000 for that service. Overpriced yata sya, nagtanong ako sa Honda makati and wala pang 6,000 yung price ng both parts na ikinabit nyo.

    Rapide (Sup): Ah sir, baka naman hindi orig yun.

    Me: Sir, sa Honda Makati ako nagtanong. (ugok)

    Rapide (Sup): ah kasi sir meron tayong extended warranty on parts and service.

    Me: Boss, wala tayong napagusapang ganyan nung nagpakabit ako sa inyo.

    Rapide (Sup): OK, pero sir orig naman yung kinabit namin, nakita nyo naman diba?

    Me: Oo, orig nga, so ibig sabihin chinarge nyo ko ng 6,000 para install nyo sa kotse ko yun e wala pa ngang 6,000 ang sabi sakin ng Honda Makati para sa parts na yan.

    Rapide (Sup): Hindi naman po sa ganon, ayun kasi yung binigay na price ng warehouse namin (medyo guilty na ang tono nya).

    Me: OK, nung una kasi sabi nyo sakin 8,+++ for the orig tapos 5,+++ for the replacement. Tapos bumalik kayo at bigla nyong sinabi na 8,+++ pala yung primary lang and 5,+++ yung sa secondary tapos binigyan nyo pa ko ng discount para 12,000 na lang.

    Rapide (Sup): Sige sir, ichecheck ko na lang with the warehouse to, bibigyan na lang namin kayo ng feedback.

    Me: Ok, kelan ko makukuha yung feedback nyo?

    Rapide (Sup): Sa Monday po. Kokontakin na lang namin kayo. Nagbigay naman po kayo ng number dun samin diba?

    Me: Sige, dito nyo na lang ako kontakin sa Cell Phone ko. (since office number ang binigay ko sa kanila). San ako pwede mag follow up kapag wala akong nakuhang feedback sa inyo on Monday?

    Rapide (Sup): Sir dito na lang po, kausapin nyo yung manager namin, or sa customer service.

    Me: O sige. Antay ko na lang.

    I doubt it kung tatawagan ka pa nyan... siguradong sasabihin nyan sayo lagi na wala pa feedback..
