Actually, naisip ko na yang mga sinasabi nyo... I'll just wait and see muna. If I didnt get any feedback on Monday, then I'll talk to the manager. Theres no harm in trying. I just dont want to let them think na lahat ng tao ay hindi kumikibo pag naloko nila.

Paolo, we require you to post a scanned copy of receipt/invoice or any proof, para maipakita sa lahat na legit yung concern mo. Nang sa ganun, mabasa man ng rapide ang thread na ito, they'll know na hindi gawagawa lamang ang mga reklamong naibabato sa kanila.

    thanks

Sure, I'll post it when I have the time... Pero I assure you guys hindi ako nagiimbento. And I already called Rapide - 8991920 and they already heard of my concern.

paolo, good luck and i'm glad to hear you are not just charging it to experience and finding redress for your grievance.

nadenggoy din ako ng rapide na iyan. nagpamount and balance lang ako ng dalawang gulong, charge sa akin P600. engot ko kasi.

I DO NOT trust rapide. I went there for an oil change, they did their free checkup on my car. They started to mess around with my electrical wires, and tinkering with lots of things. I took it home. Later on that day, I go over a speed bump, and my speakers turn off. I go over another speed bump, it turns on again. Then I also noticed that when i got it back, my volume was at 40, and my max that I put it on is about 35 because I have the "Loud" feature turned on. So they were playing with my sound system, tinkering with things, and now my speakers turn off and on when I hit bumps.

I say boycott Rapide, let them feel the effects of karma. It's not worth going there. They'll take advantage of you, tinker with things..looking for things to "fix"..if you've got toys (like my car audio system) they'll play with it. I really plan on sending them an E-mail, and sending them the countless threads of bad reviews on their company.

yup had a bad experience with rapide in binian few years ago... had oil change.. but i thnk they did a really bad job and used a really bad oil.. plus they overfilled it with engine oil.. the other rapide that went to get a quote for the things needed to be replaced in my starex is the one in paseo de santa rosa... they quoted me for 10,500 pesos for the parts alone plus wala pa daw labour.. i decided to buy the parts myself and it cost less than 4000.. thats why i will never go to rapide for anything again..

I have personally sworn off using Rapide for life after my bad experience with them. Luckily, I suspected that something was wrong and got a second opinion.

It all started when I heard a knocking sound coming from the front suspension of my Ford Lynx whenever I drove over humps or lubak. Told my driver to take it to Rapide at Riverbanks to have a free check-up. Well that free check-up recommended replacement of ball joints, pitman arm, bushings, tie-rod ends, etc. etc. etc. and the amount they quoted was PHP22,000!!!!

Now I have owned several cars in the past notorious for suspension problems but this was something else. Never in my life did I ever encounter an estimate for suspension repair such as this. Not even from the casa. I was astonished yes, but at the same time very suspicious about the quote.

My first impulse was to go to Ford Libis to get a quote. Casas are not really my favorite place for jobs such as this because they normally ask you to leave your car for them to diagnose it properly which means you will be car-less for at least 2 days.

On my way there, I happened to pass by the Goodyear Servitek at Libis so I decided to check out what they would say. The car was immediately put on a lifter and the mechanic said every single part of the front suspension was in good condition, no wear or damage whatsoever! The culprit?....A loose bolt that was tightened for FREE! I couldn't believe it and I even told the mechanic if he was absolutely sure that was the problem.

True enough, no more front suspension noise whatsoever and no more Rapide for me ever! In fact I was so happy, I told the Servitek mechanic to change the oil and use synthetic and change the plugs!

As for Rapide, I went back with their estimate and showed them the receipt of Goodyear Servitek stating "Tightening loose suspension bolt NO CHARGE" and made sure I created a scene among the customers seated at the lounge to dramatize my point that they were being had just as I almost was....

danngg... 22k??? You can't trust Rapide. Anything they suggest goes in one ear..and goes out the other. They said I had to get a new compressor for my aircon. I personally bought a new compressor last month, so, after they told me I had to replace that, I remember the threads here about Rapide's services. I really hope their business crumbles and falls.

It seems hindi isolated ang ganyan case ng Rapide. Sino ba ang franchise owner nito?

Dapat siguro we should rename this thread to "Beware of Rapide" or "Rapide Rant".

I used to think that sa isa or dalawa lang branches ang may ganitong problema, lahat pala at ang dami na ang na biktima ng swindling franchise nato! .

Dapat nga yung slogan nila should be changed to "No One goes to Rapide, No One!"

The franchise owner of Rapide Imus is an Indian dude.

Hahaha...does ANYONE go to Rapide on a regular basis because of their "quality" service?

Diba meron na ganito topic few years back I remember I shared my experience.
