Our roads, expressway and others, are chaotic because of one reason -

Law enforcers in this country are not Pro-active but Passive.

Police do not patrol the streets and do random checks on the most basic of violations. It happens in front of their faces, and they do nothing. They just sit in one corner (perhaps 3 or a dozen of them) and flag down cars caught swerving (kuno) or violating a non-Uturn curb. Kapag hindi "in scope" sa assigned violations na huhulihin nila, even if it's happening in front of their faces, hindi nila huhulihin.

What good will that do? Nothing.

Since people know where they are, people follow the rules in that area only. Once the motorist gets past these useless cops, chaos returns.

What are the consequences? Motorists are not afraid to violate, most especially the following:
    • Un-insured and dilapidated Public Utility Vehicles (tricycles, jeepneys, AUVs, buses, at mga PI mga taxi na hindi nagpapasakay ng rush hour at pag umuulan) that cut you and piss you off like it's their primary mission in life.
    • escorted wang-wang expedition, suburbans, with trailing nissan patrols and revos who piss off everyone because they are f*&^*^ng royalty
    • mga kung sino sinong jhologs na driver and car owners who think they are steven segal and not afraid of anybody.

Our traffic management have totally no regard for the value of human life. In other words, useless.

GMA, wake up and make our streets safe again. I-sama mo na sa "my legacy for the last 3 years chuva" projects mo yan.

Please see attached picture to see what I mean.

I like my car to be fast so I don't actually have to go (that) fast. But when I see a pair of racing buses or trucks on my tail, I make sure they stay there.

Mabuti nalang masipag manghuli sa NLEX, kahit anong kati nilang humataw hindi nila makamot.

most of the time mga SUVs and AUV's...sa NLEX ha. tpos lagi nkatutok sa likod at nka bright at pa flash flash pa. samantalang nasa speed limit ka naman na. mga bus and trucks naman mahilig pumunta sa fast lane para overtakein yung isang truck na nasa harap nila. medyo dangerous din when they change lane as you are about to speed.

here we go again on this tutok/flash and within speed limit thing... IMO, they won't flash a high beam on you if you are on the proper lane. You are probably on the leftmost lane and cruising "within the speed limit". there are a lot of signages in NLEX stressing that the leftmost lane is for overtaking only and not meant for crusing whether you are within the speed limit or not.

    :peace:

To give credit to us, doon sa NLEX, mas may manners na mga drivers doon.

Karamihan ng mga manghaharang sa left lane usually mga owner-type and PUV-type AUVs nalang. Kahit mga bus, after overtaking, bumabalik sa right lane.

At least, mga private drivers, medyo natuto na. To think na last year lang, parang ang daming illiterate. Yay Philippines!

Agree on this one. Saka pag nagflash ka sa mga sasakyang mabagal na nasa left lane sa 2-lane sections ng NLEX, kakanan kadalasan, di gaya sa EDSA or SLEX na kahit anong flash mo walang paki. Walang issue with regards to speed as long as you're not overspeeding, ang issue e kung san talaga dapat luminya na di magawa-gawang maipaalam sa mga motorista.
