IMO, it's very unfair, for me personally it's not diskarte rather it's nanglalaman, anong bang mahirap kung pumila na lang kung dala na yun cart or yun mga pinamili..walang pinagkaiba yun sa nag rereserve sa parking habang wala pa yun kotse...lahat naman kayo pare-parehong nagmamadali..if everybody will do that "diskarte" then lahat ng nakapila sa cashier eh wlang mga dalang pinamili....I just don't know why we filipinos have a penchant of making lamang to others.. parang feeling na magaling pag nakakalaman and this is a good example of the filipino habit...

June 15th, 2007 10:03 AM #43ok lng ckin yan basta hindi sumingit at basta pagdating sa cashier at wala pa items eh paunahin ung iba
ibang usapan nman pag ang pila eh pang isang basket or 12pcs lang tapos dala nya eh cart with more than 12pcs na items.

the country would be a better place if we stop this habit ... pumila lamang po tayo sa tamang paraan kahit saan, sa grocery, sa banko, sa parking, sa airport ... kahit saan

I don't have any problem with that as long as he doesn't become an impediment to me.
like what others said, I'll ask him kung wala pa yung groceries, then I'll go ahead of him. otherwise, he doesn't have any business standing in front of the cashier.

June 15th, 2007 11:10 AM #48Yeah, I agree.
Also, diba if you're done with your groceries and are ready to check out, you'd look for the shortest OR fastest queue. Pag may proxy yung pila, you'll never know if you get a fast or a slow queue hangga't hindi pa dumadating yung cart nung proxy.
It would indeed be very unfair to you if you chose what you thought was a fast queue tapos parang Motorcade/Caravan of grocery carts pala yung inaabangan nung proxy sa harap mo.

June 15th, 2007 12:53 PM #49falling in line at kfc is different from this situation because you're not bringing anything with you, you're simply there to place an order and pay. now what would be somewhat similar is if 1 person falls in line then when she;s at the end of the line she calls her ten friends who join the queue to place their individual orders. now that's bad! if two of you fall in line at the same time using different queues, no problem with that, that's your right, you can fall in line. But if you fall in line without any groceries, then i guess something's wrong with that. i like what torque said earlier and i believe that it all boils down to values and ethics. well, this is the philippines, i guess things will always be this way.

Finally, something I can agree with. It's all about crab mentality, all over again.
Those who think it's OK, I understand your side. But the principle is just downright selfish. Fall in line only when you're ready. That's so easy to follow. Maintain one's principles, and you'll maintain your calm.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
