I always make a right to Ayala ave coming from Paseo, lalu na after 6am from work. Hirap sa makati maraming ifs and buts sila. If they want to impose the no right turn when red light is on rule then put up road signs hindi yun pag trippan nila yun motorist.

supposedly, pero iba sa Makati....malinaw naman yun ibang intersection meron nakasulat na "no right turn on red signal" so obviously bawal but kahit na walang sign, hinuhuli pa rin nila....kung meron MAPSA sa kanto just wait for them to signal na lang na pwede ka ka lumiko...kung hinde nag signal intay ka na lang ng green light

kung mag stop ka sa red turning right siguro just make sure your blinker is on para di ka mahuli ng obstruction?

Sa Amorsolo cor. Arnaiz, grey area. I turned right there once, going to the Skyway but was stopped by a grey uniformed enforcer (w/c btw is so hard to spot at night - sinasadya yata na parang camo). Dialog namin:
Enforcer: Ser, no right turn on red signal diyan.
Me: E nakasulat sa karatola, "Right lane must turn right" and proceded to translate in Tagalog.
Enforcer: Para po yan sa mga pumepwesto diyan pero kakaliwa pala.
Me: Hindi klaro ang sign niyo (and went on to lecture him on the nuances of the English language). And point out that I'm from Las Pinas, 1st time in the area, etc.
Nahilo yata, kasi pinaalis na lang ako w/ a warning, "Sa susunod, etc. etc..." Was I glad I got off easily that time.
OK lang ang sumunod sa "no right turn on red" but what irritates me are those who can't understand the qualifiers like "From 7am to 10am and 4pm to 8pm." Kaya minsan nagkakataon na kahit hindi naman "ora de peligro", hindi pa rin gumagalaw yung ibang mga driver. Lagyan na kasi ng Tagalog translation. Coz despite what tourism and investment officials say, many Pinoys aren't that well-versed in English.

Dederecho na sana ako, kaso suicidal yung enforcer. Tumayo ba naman sa harap ng kotse ko. So no choice but to stop. Didn't want to add homicide to the violation. Forgot to mention, the enforcer explained na kapag may right turn arrow traffic light, talagang dapat nakatigil ka kung pula yung arrow. Puede ka lang gumalaw kung green na. Same as in various other corners in Makati. Since then, I've been taking the Amorsolo cor. Arnaiz sts. carefully, moving forward slowly til I can see if there's an enforcer on duty. Kung wala, tuloy-tuloy na ako to the skyway.
To those not familiar w/ Makati, be warned na meron talagang mga trap tulad ng Legaspi cor. Paseo de Roxas, going to GB-1. May "No right turn on red signal" sign dun bago mag traffic light kaya if you miss reading it and turn right while the light is red, you're in for a rude awakening at the cor of Gamboa, just before AIM.
