No LTO STICKER for 2013 & 2014

I also registered last week. Still no stickers. And I haven't even claimed my 2013 sticker yet too.

As long as you don't get apprehended then wala naman problema :D. But if you do, the OR has a stamp that says "no sticker available" so pwede mo pakita sa traffic enforcer yun. It's not the motorists fault really, it's LTO's fault. You register on time but they can't give the stickers when needed then it's us that gets inconvenienced by calling them back then returning when the sticker are available? No way.

As long as you went through the motor registration process (the OR is your proof), there should be no penalty to the motorist just because you don't have a sticker.

wala rin akong 2013 sticker nakapagrehistro naman ako for 2014. Walang penalty. Yun nga lang sayang ang binayad ko sa sticker ng 2013 at mukhang masasayang din for 2014. buhay third world.

Magkano nga ba ang sticker fee? Someone should already take action on this. Dapat yung bayad sa sticker pagkakuha na lang eh.

50 pesos lang naman ang sticker pero yun nga lang million ang nagreregister sa atin at mag two years na ang problema, nga nga pa rin.

under DOTC ang LTO di ba? no wonder mula sa MRT, killer buses, hangang sa LTO puro palpak. Ilang taon na bang nakaupo yang secretary ng DOTC? di pa ba yan tatangalin ni Pnoy?

Nakapag register na ako last monday. Ang sabi, after a week may sticker na.... Kaso... Para sa mga vehicles na nag register ng January pa lang daw mabibigyan

MANILA, Philippines - All vehicles will carry the new standard license plates by 2016.

Speaking to reporters, Land Transportation Office (LTO) director Alfonso Tan Jr. said they aim to complete the distribution of standard plates for new registrants in the third quarter of the year.

“After that, we will address the plates for replacement,” he said. “We foresee that once we get this rolling, all the vehicles (in the country) will bear the standard plates.”

Tan demonstrated yesterday the attachment of the new plates, with special screws that would make it difficult to remove the plates.

“The only way to remove them is to destroy the screws and destroy the plates,” he said. (replacement plate ulit :D)

The screws package comes with an instruction manual in English and Tagalog to make it easier for vehicle owners to attach them, LTO spokesman Jason Salvador said.

The new plates have alphanumeric combination printed in black with a white background.

The alphanumeric combination plates of public utility vehicles will also be in black but on yellow background.

Tan said they purposely removed the designs in the background of past plates to simplify the new plates.

Tan said the alphanumeric combination would be sacrificed if the background were retained.

“Studies show that next to the yellow and black combination, the most visible is black and white,” he said.

The new plates also have reflectorized sheeting to make them visible from afar and from any angle.

Each will also have a “third-plate” sticker displaying the license plate numbers.

The new plates for public utility vehicles will indicate the region where the registration was made.

Plates for public buses will carry the labels “city bus” or “provincial bus.” The “third plate” sticker will feature the vehicle’s routes.

Protocol plates issued to lawmakers will indicate the house of Congress where they belong and the years of the their term.

Q: Paano yung mga vehicle owners na nagpagawa ng special plate worth 25k, yung three alpha at dalwang number (AAA 01)?

Same pa rin yung format ang mababago lang is yung color ng plate, it would be black characters over white background.
