Very much true. Kapag coding yung kotse ko, nagbubus lang ako. MMDA has successfully increased my travel time by 30 to 45 minutes. Imagine delaying bus-loads of people to work. Minsan, di talaga pinag-iisipan. If they are going to implement the yellow lane rule, I suggest that DOTC cancel all PUB franchises and put up a BRT network. Or they put more trains on MRT.

But that's not gonna happen - model of inefficiency kasi ang Pinas.

the only way to lessen buses is to lower the fares. Kasi ngaun ats kahit 1/3 LNG puno kita na sila. Inagine diesel at P40+ tapos min fare ng aircon eh P12-P15. Tubong lugaw talaga.

but that's not possible, kse ang mayari ng buses are mostly retired Armed Forces, so effectively walang powers ang MMDA.

pagdating namin sa lowering of fares, Malabo din kase yan LTFRB eh pugad ng retired AFP din.

So basically, oligopoly na yan EDSa Bus system.

If you ask if they have care or concern for the working / middle class productivity, hahaha they don't care if mabawasan ang GDP natin sa inefficient working conditions. Basta solb na sila dyan, that's all that matters.

    ----

It will take a civil war first if you want to change something sa mass transport. And sadly, the present conditions will just get worse. With buses in EDSa even doubling in the next 3 years

    so is there hope? None!

the only thing we can hope na Lang is karma. They are inconveniencing the productive members of society, so ang balik sa pamilya ng mga nag-benefit dyan matindi, like sakit, malas, or in danger lagi ng patayan kse ang structure ng mass transport ngaun is parang criminal syndicates na naman eh. nature will correct itself, Let's count on that.

Ang hanapbuhay na marangal walang element ng kahit anong pahirap sa kapwa. and this transport system walang marangal dyan kahit na baluktot na katwiran pa nila na nakakatulong sila sa pasahero.

Tram system ang kelangan sa EDSa with at least 3 three rail lanes na fixed at may govt subsidy ang fares. Non-profit dapat yan bec EDSA is a major central lifeline ng all M.M. Cities.

If we propose this, Baka magka Coup pa

Baka yung mga extra roads, ground level or elevated man, na gagawin nila MP at AC ay makatulong. Tapos ipatupad na yung No Provincial Bus Sa EDSA
