Problema talaga ito ng mga LGUs..ang puno at ugat kasi nito mga politiko din..bakit wala bang batas para makasuhan mga namumunong opisyales sa kanilang kapabayaan at pagiging iresponsable na paalisin itong mga squatter colonies sa daanan ng mga esteros at mga sidewalks ng kamaynilaan.? Pag walang batas anong ginagawa ng senado at conggreso..?IMO this perennial flooding woes and the chaos it brought to the populace year in and year out not only glaringly demonstrate how we are being fooled by people we voted for..worse these irrational, mentally crooked politicians are glorified and looked up to as the very saviour of the lowlives in their midst..

The LINA LAW should be junked. It makes the squatters assume that they can just depend on the government for housing. In the end, our taxes just go into making this problem bigger and bigger everytime we provide them with "housing".
