MMDA Scheme at Crame U-Turn

Last Sunday, I was approaching the splitting roads across Crame. One was the flyover to Cubao and the other was the U-turn to Greenhills. There was a bad road segment in the left lane, so I avoided it first, then gently turned to the lane approaching the U-turn.

Well what do you know, those light-blue guys flagged me. One of them approached me and made a salute (as if he had good intentions). I asked him what's wrong and he told me I should have stayed at the extreme left already when I intended to U-turn to Greenhills. I told him I just avoided a bad road section, and he just didn't listen. He then asked me to move my car to a safer place and hand over my license. Before that, I saw an opening that made it possible for me to get away from them. I sped off and they could do nothing but stare at my car's rear end.

These people care about nothing except money, such that they have to go to the extent of making their own traffic rules. I didn't even swerve. I changed lane carefully and made sure I didn't cut any vehicle behind me. Moreover, I decided on that day to just cruise and drive less wildly, and ironically, I was stopped at that time.

So here's my advice, "Don't submit to these losers if you know you didn't do anything wrong."

Yup, the exact same place where I was almost victimized. Yun nga lang, not all victims have the guts to run off like me. Too bad your friend wasn't able to salvage himself. Just teach him what he can do next time.

Ano sila, siniswerte? I was on my way to an Autocross event and I made sure those jerks will not ruin my day. And I wouldn't have spent my last money that time for an "Only-in-Macapagal" McDo shake had I given in to them.

anyway di ako pumayag sa violation kasi ni reason out ko sinundan ko lang yung nauna sa akin di naman nya hinuli... di ko binigay license ayaw din ako paalisin then kunyari tumawag ako sa phone pero wala ako kausap.. kunyari sinusumbong ko sya then nagapapasundo ako... he asked saan daw ba ako pupunta.. i told him sa uncle ko sa crame nagpapasundo na nga ako papunta na sila... ayun pina alis na ako hehehe

Similar in Magallanes on ramp - to Pasay and to Alabang/SLEX; if you follow the signboard above you'll get swerving violation. Aside from that - you can see it coz it covered w/ black dust.

same setup din along edsa extn., yung u-turn infront of Toyota manila bay before reaching the stop light ng macapagal. Andun naka-pwesto mga h?n*y#p*k na MMDA, mga TVR ata nila may pre-selected na violation na which is "swerving"....and you can't run coz they have motorcycles and at times 4-wheels na panghabol in case. I tell you, that place is hell of a trap, too.

Gago noh?! They should be giving warnings to the motorist not to violate. But instead, they wait for a victim to fall for their traps.

This is why traffic laws in our country are more of a joke... And those who clearly violate the rules simply go away after handing over a measly 100 pesos or so...

I also turn in right before the MRT post at the flyover base going to that U-turn slot to avoid the rough portion.

I was also hit by those guys there a couple of years ago or so but it was going under to the right side (was gonna turn to Santolan). I was on the 3rd lane to avoid the buses and the bad road portion, as i have always done just to add, and shifted to the 2nd lane to go under... lo and behold, pinara ako ng mga mokong. At the end, after a lengthy discussion, they did not get my license nor their midnight snack money (this happened at 10 in the evening!!!).

Some months ago, the same MMDA also tried to pull me over for no apparent reason... never stopped.

Milyunaryo na siguro yan mga pulis na yan in a year's time kung hulihin lang nila lahat ng jeep, bus, and taxi na swerving, unloading/loading sa gitna ng kalsada, wala sa yellow lane, and colorum. Puro kalokohan mga ito e.
