Then aim for their vehicle (preferably the rear) if it's blocking you and push it aside. Know which direction you're aiming for and keep your head down.

Number one lesson from security driving schools... a moving target is harder to hit. If you stay inside the vehicle and exchange fire with armed men, you're dead. If you can move, your chances of survival grow higher exponentially. This is drilled into every security escort and driver overseas. To get away first rather than exchange fire. If you let your opponent choose the time and place of the gunfight, you're at a significant disadvantage, especially since: 1.) They can pick their own cover and 2.) If you stay in the vehicle, you're an easy target, if you try to exit the vehicle, you become an easy target.

Run away. This has been proven in the real world as the best course of action, whatever the weapon load-out of your enemy.

There may be some items missed in the report. It seems the sentra may have been the victim of hit and run by this Pregio, and all they did was catch up and block the Pregio to confront the Pregio driver to take responsibility for the damage he caused.

So if that happens to be the case, lesson ba rito is kung may nag hit and run sa atin, huwag na lang ito habulin?

If the pursuit becomes dangerous, back off then report the "hit and run" to the police. Why put yourself in danger's way?

I've been in many fender benders... and sometimes the other guy runs away. If you try to chase them and they're weaving in and out of traffic like a madman, at that point, another accident may be likely.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    +1.

Besides, let's assume one catches the hit and runner... what's next? What if he is bigger and meaner than you? What if there are more of them than you (or your group). Worse, what if they have a gun? Discretion IS the better part of valor.

i agree about assessing the situation but instinct would definitely tell us to chase the perpetrator. i'm sure this is what happened to the victim if indeed a hit and run was committed especially since there were three of them thinking they had the upper hand. so i wouldn't immediately conclude that 'they got what they deserved' for their wrong judgement unless the manner of approaching the gunman was indeed too aggressive.

it's really hard to assess since i'm sure it's possible to have a scenario where a hit and run perpetrator would still drive 'normally' or calmly if he had the arrogance and audacity to just shoot anyone. kahit siguro sundan mo hanggang mall tapos kausapin mo ng matino there's a chance na barilin ka na lang basta.
