Having frequented three of the major expressways here -- NLEX, SLEX & SCTEX -- may napansin ako.

Those who go above the speedlimit are usually drivers of vehicles who has a high center of gravity. Fortuner, Montero, pick-ups, TBZ... you name it.

Mas madalas na humahataw ang mga "people hauler" or "family hauler" compared sa mga sedan, which is supposed to be more stable at high speed.

Chill lang yung mga 7 series BMW, Camry, Accord, Altis etc.

Nakakasabay ako ng mga sedans na mga 100kph lang takbo, minsan 90kph pa... then here comes the flying Innova running at 170kph.

Siguro ano... eto yung mga dating nagraracing sa track or sa streets (illegal or otherwise) na nagkapamilya na but seem to not kick off their speed addiction.

Sedans vs. AUVs/SUVs/CUVs, mas marami na nagbbreak ng speedlimit na gamit ang SUV compared sa sedan.

Siguro nga dahil sila yung mainit sa throttle dati gamit sedan nila then nakasanayan na, so when they use their SUVs or vans, floor pa rin.

Just like a friend of mine. He has three bimmers, an FXT, an Impreza STi and an Everest.

Obviously when he drives the bimmers, the Forester and the STi, running over 200kph is just normal for him. Heck, he floored his STi from EDSA to Ortigas using the ramp and he topped around 225kph. On a normal basis, he just accelerates leaving the rest behind.

And when he's on the Everest, which is a really tall car, he does the same too.

Some people just love speed that 100kph is too slow for them. And I'm just okay with that. What I'm saying is, while all these guys do their illegal speeding I'm just hopeful that there's still the small bit of consciousness in them that questions all the what ifs.

Kahit anong provocation di mo na dapat patulan. Secondly, parang ang babaw naman yung reason na may group na minamaliit ang ride mo. Just keep this in mind. This is the car I chose to buy. I'm happy with it and I don't give a sh!t what others think about it. They can go f*ck themselves.

oo nga, ako guilty din. but i overspeed not because i'm a speed freak. i speed up because i fall asleep going slow on a very smooth road. 100kph lulls me to sleep, 120+kph keeps me awake. hangang 145kph lang naman ako if i'm alone on the road, and slow down to 120kph when there are others on the road. nahuli nga ako last friday sa sctex, i was tagged doing 128kph. guilty as charge sir. magkano po ba multa nito sa lto main? P1300 po? ok po sa thursday pwede na makuha? yes sir, slow down na po sir! thank you for the reminder po!

yung ugok na naka-new honda accord na nakabuntot sa akin natiketan din. sinisi pa ako ni loko, tinuturo ako nung pinara siya sa sctex exit sa tarlac city. aba malay ko ba sa kanya e di naman ako nakikipagkarera sa kanya hehehe!
