He's armed and dangerous too. Justifiable ang warning shot, IMHO ... to the tyres.

    :D

That, or it really was a toy gun .........
I don't think he predicted that the taxi would still run after him, much more banggain pa siya. And all the same, someone would have caught him on video firing his gun. Piyesta pa rin sa internet.

It was not a screwdriver, it was a knife diba? Wasn't it less harm na nilabas lang niya baril niya. It was shown on TV that the MB driver also had a cut. Nahagip ng taxi driver. Talagang papatay din yung taxi e.

Its just the same, pinag-pyestahan na rin siya ngayon di ba? He should've taken advantage of his few famous minutes.

Re: Knife. Yes, kaya justifiable ang warning shot/s. Aimed at the tyres. One cannot fire a warning shot upwards, and forget about the bullet di ba?

The world is a different place nowadays. Its a dog eat dog scene out there.

It's been repeatedly said that a normal person will be intimidated by a gun. Considering that he has no weapon, hinabol pa niya at binangga niya yung MB. Read what uls just said, the man is battle hardened.

he obviously belongs to a lower status in society, and the amount to have to glass replaced, is too much for him, so he risked his life for it. he had to seek reimbursement or payment for the damage done. "desperado" would be a more appropriate term for the cabbie, and not utak kriminal.

mb driver should have been wise enough to have the "gitgitan" incident just pass.

a few weeks ago while driving, the car in front of me suddenly stopped to turn left, to avoid it i turned the wheel a bit making the car swerve by about 6 inches to the right, knowing that a motorcycle was behind me, on my right side. he really wasn't in any danger of getting hit, but he decided to make a big thing out of it.

as the lights turned red, he blocked my car's path and alighted from his bike, pretending to fix something on his waist, maybe pretending to have a gun. my wife sensing that i might make "patol" told me to let it be. the guy moved towards the door, asking if i had any problems, the same old "naninidak" scenario. i kept my cool but really did not give in to the temptation for a heated argument. i know i can win this, as i had my gun with me.

i let him say whatever he wanted, then before the lights turned green, he was on his motorbike.
the next day i woke up, i was glad i did not make "patol". i was home with my family, and not spending time anywhere else (jail).

"nakakalalaki" yes, but being in jail because you did not control your temper is more "nakakahiya" naman siguro.
best route for an educated fellow, even if the passenger is a hot head, you should always be in control. good thng you and your wife were cool headed at the time.

In my younger years, I had the distinct privilege of feeling the cold end of a snub nose revolver on my forehead during a jeepney heist. Honestly there was no fear or shock but more of feeling detached from the situation like looking at it from another person's view. After 10 or 15 minutes when the robbers left and the adrenalin has subsided, my legs felt like jelly I couldnt stand up and get out of the jeep.

Give me a break. Taxis with all sorts of damage on the body are a dime a dozen. It's rare to find a taxi driver that has malasakit for the taxi they are driving.
