May 21st, 2010 09:25 PM #62Not sure if this is the right topic to post pero ano po ba ang violation kapag lumagpas ng kaunti sa line just before the stoplight?
So pinatawid ako ng intersection tapos tinabi ko and inabot ko lisensya ko..
E: "Ano? Titicketan na natin to a."
A: "Cge, ticketan niyo na." (Never ako magbibigay ng lagay!)
Tapos parang nagalanganin yung Enforcer..
E: "San ka ba nakatira?"
A: "Dyan lang."
Tinignan lisensya ko..
E: "A..magkapitbahay lang pala tayo..cge sa susunod tingin ng mabuti sa stoplight a."
So ayun..pinaalis na ako. Counted ba as beating the red light yung nangyari sa akin?

IMO sir hindi. Beating the red light means that nag-cross ka pa rin ng intersection kahit nag-red na. Pero you did your best naman to stop at the red light yun nga lang nainguso mo na yung kotse mo.
Beating the red light means kahit red na, ginusto mo pa rin i-cross yung intersection eh. Pero in your case, you stopped, so it's not a violation. Kapag nainguso mo na, best is to back up na lang a little.

Ok lang yun sir. At least you stopped and you didn't beat the red light. Pwede namang i-explain sa enforcer yun.
Beating the red light means nag-cross ka kamo.

Up and ADD: coming from Paseo going to Pasay Rd.
Admittedly got caught (1AM even, got OTy madness in the office). Really didn't notice a red light so this "Samboy" flagged me down. I asked the reason and he said I was beating the red light. Puzzled, I told him I didn't see a red light, and to prove his point he had me go down and check myself.
So I went down my car, locked the doors, and checked the stoplight. Yeah, he's right - it does indeed have its RED and GREEN lights working, but not the YELLOW. Kung dilaw yun magbabadya naman ako malamang (swear to God I do).
Of course, "only in the Philippines", I told him, "dilaw siguro nung tumawid ako." And expecting his reply, it's "beating the red light pa rin 'yun." Jeez, no problems with me. But the stoplight is just strategically placed behind a tree hence you don't actually see it unless it emits a light. Hence the reason kung ba't sila naka-pwesto dun.
After they apprehended me, may hinuli pa silang tatlo of the same violation. If that happens at a nightly basis, ang yaman na siguro nila ano? Just because the richest city in the Philippines can't replace a busted YELLOW light.
you apply lang sa mga outlines at crevices ng emblem na may nanigas na dumi... ok na yan, make...
