I think the general impression of women being fickle-minded also affects their behaviour on the road, such that sometimes, their moments of indecision cause inconvenience to others. Of course, men, being perceived as dominant and assertive, can also be an annoyance when being aggressive for the wrong reasons.

Dati sa EDSA-ORTIGAS intersection, the lights were RED.
The car in front of me was driven by a lady. Since the lights were red, she started putting on makeup.

When the lights turned green, ayaw pa rin kumilos. So...as expected, I honked my horns. Ayun! Nagulat! Lumipad yung compact niya. Heheh..

hahaha... same din sa younger sister ng wife ko... naglalagay lang sya ng maliit na pillow sa seat para makita nya ng maayos yung daan when she drive their landcruiser. ang bilis din mag drive at sumingit pag traffic. minsan nga while i drove their car (sis-in-law ko nasa front sit) may gustong sumingit sa amin bigla nya binusinahan ng malakas. nagulat ako sa reaction nya.

I'm just glad my wife is cool under pressure. She can actually reason out quickly why someone cut her off instead of dishing out a kneejerk response like what I probably would've done. If that was me, I probably would've said "F-U!" and waved the bird. I'll admit, I am an idiot sometimes who open my mouth and do things without considering the possible consequences. But, I'm learning.....

I'm sure everyone tries to be courteous. But, I've seen otherwise "mature" people lose their cool while driving. I guess it depends on the gravity of the transgression.

everybody losses their cool, its how you control your temper behind the wheel.

medyo OT but connected with the title of the post

why do car used salespeople point out the fact that the car is "lady driven" as if this would command a higher price?

with some rare exceptions(like nicolodoen's wife and some women-mga babae sa tsikot-they wouldnt be here if di sila interesado sa kotse), most ladies i know(my 2 sisters included) ony DRIVE. meaning drive lang sila ng drive, minsan hindi na pinapansin na umiilaw na yung dash, dont check fluids etc. so how can the term "lady driven" be a selling point? kasi kaskasero ang lalake? mas ok nalang yung kaskasero pero well mentained kesa careful driving na di man lang chine-check ang fluids imo

if this were the case, i am now wondering why PUV drivers are males hehehehe

chip: id prefer a male driven car anytime. stigma lang yan na porke babae maalaga,oo maaaring maalaga sa upholstery pero yun tambol naman butas na at kinain ng kalawang. my poor car was lady driver before i got it. and youd be in for a big shock at what i have to repair bec of her neglect

caloyski: theyre a big exception by the way hehehe i personally consider pedicabs, calesa's and tricycles a bigger nuisance...pero the jeepney driver is a class of it's own...maybe a lower class hehehe
