    I think what he meant was that "insurance companies have found an ally in the jeepney drivers." The more of these fender-benders happening, the more willing a private vehicle owner is willing to shell out for comprehensive insurance.

    Now, whether or not it's more profitable for them to have a greater volume of comprehensive insurance policy sales, rather than have less payouts to make, is another point for debate.

    i cant believe how keen there eye sight is when driving at night time grabe! 1 headlight nga lang gumagana bulag ka na pag gabi

    You think it's hard watching out for irresponsible drivers like that in Metro Manila, you should try driving along McArthur Highway at night. Maraming mga tricycle na wala nang headlight, wala pang tail light, kaya kailangan talaga mag-high beam minsan para maaga pa lang kita mo na sila

    Buti pa minsan yung mga naka-kuliglig, kahit walang provision for headlight, gumagamit sila ng flashlight kasi alam nila na delikado sila pag gabi na.

    Unless the local law enforcement does something well wala tayong magagawa. And know the system of our law enforcement well we have to live with this.

    sa panahon ngayon, hindi mo na mapagmamayabang ang mga jeepneys as part of the culture of filipinos. ikakahiya mo na sila kasi walanghiya na mga drivers. sobrang manhid na talaga nila. wala silang pakialam kung huminto sila sa gitna ng kalsada para magbaba. kahit sigawan mo sila tititigan ka lang na parang walang nangyari.

    ah, ic ic. haha, ginawang advertisement ng insurance companies yung reckless driving ng mga jeep drivers

    i'm not sure how much comprehensive insurance premiums are over there...dito kasi, paying for one relatively minor accident will wipe out all the revenue from premiums for that customer for an entire year.

    in my opinion, yes partly these PUV drivers are to be blame. pero di ba ang nagpapatupad ng batas ang DAPAT nanghuhuli sa kanila!?
    hindi nyo ba napapansin na kahit may traffic/law enforcer na nakakakita sa kalokohan or violation nila, hindi naman sinisita.
