August 2nd, 2014 08:25 AM #1Bakit ba andaming gumagamit ng RFL sa Manila where we don't experience even a slightest amount of fog? We were in Tagaytay yesterday, and it's been raining hard, pero visibility is still good and you one can still see a vehicle 7-10 cars away. About 6PM fog started to form in the streets (wherein you can't see a vehicle in front of you 4-5 cars away clearly) pero wala namang gumagamit ng fogs (only headlights). Pero pagbaba ko ng Manila juiceko onting ambon lang nagsi-sindihan ng mga rear fog lights! Nakaka distract sobra lalo na sa traffic na sa inis ko ino-overtake ko na lang ang said vehicles.
Ilang beses na rin ako nakapag-drive from La Union to Baguio via Naguillian and conditions there aren't dangerously enough that a rfl is needed. Pero city dwellers turn theirs on becuase "it looks c00l"
Reckless fog light drivers caused 300,000 accidents in 2011
- Two million near-misses caused by drivers leaving fog lights on in the same period
- Three million drivers admit to leaving fog lights on despite driving in good visibility, despite it being an official driving offence .
- One in five young drivers who had left fog lights on did so “because it looks good”
Nakita ko nga din sa brochure na meron, kaso sabi nung service advisor, kapag J DAW auto down lang...
