wala pa ako pic, pero here goes anyway. crv with HID, katabi ko sya, and infront of him e passenger jeep, merong mga nakasabit sa jeep including yung kundoktor, kitang kita yung mga mukha nila sa sobrang glare, tsktsk, and to think na nakatayo yung mga nakasabit ha... hanep

Err, no offense to CRV Gen2 owners, but the stock headlight assembly of the vehicle sure emits too much glare even on stock halogens. Parang naka-high na pag-sedan ka tapos kaharap mo mismo yung CRV Gen2. Observation ko lang naman for the CRV Gen2 vehicles I encounter on the road.

I would be interested to see pictures of car with OEM HID headlamp if it really looks bad.

I understand HID installed on a non projector type head lamp ang higher Kelvin rating is causing this much glare.

Can it be corrected with proper aiming?

higher kelvin gives lesser glare po. hindi na kasi maliwanag yung super saturated color eh...

some OEM halogen projector to HID still glares... some I have seen like the late CRV and the Kia Karens... I think a little nudge will help...

last night, may nakasalubong ako na Seventh generation Civic. most of the time, these civics glare really bad but this car was decent...

Don't know if the HID he uses dim-sucks, or he was a responsible enough rider, all I know that the glare was even better than a fortuner with seperate low-high beams.

What I do pag naka-HID tsikot sa likod at or nakahigh beam, albeit wrong, I let them pass and when I'm behind them I turn my high beams on and susundan ko nang todo.

One time may nakasalubong akong Jazz na naka-HID, I flashed my high beams about 5-7 times and the Jazz driver turned-off his headlights kahit madilim yung street. I guess alam niyang nakakasilaw ang headlight niya kahit low beam lang.

No HID on my 4 wheeler... sa 2 wheeler lang kasi ok lang sa akin yung stock halogen lighting sa 4 wheeler... pero sa 2 wheeler yung stock halogen is only 35w lang

yep, hindi rin po lahat. take the example of motorcycles with crystal lamps. there is not one of them that does not glare. and the glare is the most worst I have ever seen. talo pa dalawa o Apat (with fogs) na HID bulbs ng glaring cagers.

Agree ako dito, but no matter how much I try to promote usage of projector lenses with motorcycle HIDs para ma lessen yung glare the responses I get is usually "ang mahal naman" ... ... well... in my opinion, if you can afford to get HIDs you can afford to get projector lenses as well... mas mura pa projector lenses eh compared sa HID.

Oo nga... yung nga ang dahilan hindi pa ako nakapag HID eh. kung hindi lang lang sabog at nakakaglare yung sasakyan ko. noon ko pa binilihan yun ng murang HID.

Kia Carens does not come standard hid HID.
For the CR-V, these cars have really clean cut-off, but it's only the 2.4 that comes w/ HID. Maybe what you saw was the 2.0 model with aftermarket HIDs.

it was night so I could be wrong what gen. but for certain it was a Projector. but I really think a little nod, ok na yun.

btw, it doesn't mean kahit clean cut HID, you won't be offending other motorists. some few people hate HID, clean or not.

may bumuntot sa akin kagabi, kung hindi ako nagkakamali, ford ranger. naka hid both headlights at fog lights, lahat kulay puti! anak ng... nakakairita tumingin sa side mirror at rear view mirror! ang tagal pa naman nakabuntot sa kin! hindi ako natutuwa sa ganun...

Yup, some people just hate HIDs just for the sake of hating them. I know a few people like that. Mahirap kausapin ... close na yung mga minds. Oh well, you can't win em all hehehehe

Update pala: Nag adjust ako sa hid bulb positioning sa loob ng projectors para lalong gaganda yung cut off ;) ok naman yung result hehehe

hindi naman masama ang hid, basta maruong ka lang gumamit. ako, gusto ko magpa-hid pero ayoko naman gumastos para lang sa retrofitting. i'd rather stick to the usual headlight than have hid kung makakabulag ka lang ng kapwa mo driver

so far, I seen a few, but bagsak po rating ko sa kanila... you can try nodding them but at the expense of your safety. or you can go for projector retrofits and spent ouching... 14k... that's the path I'm going to take... peru matagal pa... marami pa akong mas prority...

yep, I have tailed one responsible HID car but I saw one car flashing galit on him High Beaming. then I have tailed a lot of bad HID cars (under citylights) and yet no one flashed high beamed on them. some Irony haha...

maganda po cutoff ninyo. I think it's the first bike I have seen on projector... That makes it really special.

ive seen the beam pattern dun sa site ng seller. parang fog light yung bato ng ilaw. ang hina. IMO
