Hello, I am new in this forum and it is very unfortunate that my first post is about something rude and indecent I observed yesterday afternoon.

We came from a trip to Batangas City and decided to stop over at the Petron Gas Station along the STAR Tollway to freshen up for the long journey back to Manila and buy snacks for my wife and daughter. It was around 5:45PM when we entered the station and parked one space away from a black current-model Honda Civic (ZBU ### ?). My wife and kid went down from the car first to buy some snacks while a white car (UBE ### ?) parked in between mine and the Civic. I was left in the car while preparing some change as toll payment once I exit the STAR Tollway.

Once I decided to alight from my vehicle, I noticed the driver of the white car wielding what looked like an N92 camera phone (the one with the fancy lenses...) and was filming the lady in the front passenger seat of the Honda Civic. The passenger, who was wearing a short green dress was reaching for something from the driver's door pocket (the driver was not in the vehicle). The passenger was kneeling on the passenger seat, almost crouched, while doing this and consequently, her short dress began hitching up, showing her underwear from behind.

I knew for certain now that this was a voyeur at work as I clearly saw from the screen of his phone that he was zooming in on the crotch area of the lady who was still crouched on the seat.

This happened for more than half a minute without the lady noticing. She eventually returned to sit properly and the voyeur temporarily put down the phone. He waited for a couple minutes more before deciding to drive off eventually.

I am posting this as a warning to everyone - for the protection of the dignity of you or your family/friends. I did not know what to do - should I have apprehend the voyeur? Do I notify the lady that she was violated? Do I look for the driver? Do I notify security?

It was a very frustrating feeling not being able do anything at that point. What if this was done to a friend or family member?

It is very easy for these acts of indecency to be done in this day and age with all the hi-tech gadgetry available. I believe that aside from being careful, there should be legislation passed against these immoral acts.

Daming ganyan dito pre, saw a local site before preying on any women (pati bata, buntis etc) wearing skirts (not even short ones), shorts, etc... Jeepney, powerbooks, etc...

what a rude bastard! if i were you, i'd call the attention of the girl then tell her about the "filming" incident. and if possible, film the guy din while doing it to have evidence. pero informing the girl would suffice. letting her know about it is enough and it would make you credible naman. there after, leave the trouble to them. sick maniacs!!!

I guess malakas ang loob ng voyeur since he has the temerity to continue even if he knew of your presence, if ever he did notice. pero kung hindi, make your presence felt since usually takot ang mga iyan.

sa Oz sobrang regulated ang camera phone, you cannot even bring it with you sa public places where most would be found half naked like swimming pools and beaches. if they suspect you even if you're just making a call most likely mas grabe yung treatment na makukuha mo than yung kay Ron sa Transformers thread.

Just honk your horn hard to get the attention of the voyeur and the girl... or if you feel man enough - knock on the window of the girl's car and inform her of what's happening.

The guy was alone in his car, seems like sanay na siyang gumawa noon cause he was very cool and discrete about it.

I was hesitant to apprehend or notify anyone as I was with my wife and 2-year old daughter, and I didn't want to make a scene with them in tow, kawawa naman baby ko, baka ma-trauma.

Naisip kong i-video rin yung voyeur, kaya lang natako ako na mapagkamalang baka kasabwat ako dun sa ginagawa niya.

Dun sa "nanay ko yan" comment, medyo malabo in this case, the lady was at most only 20 years old (possibly teenager pa). There were actually two other passengers at the back seat, a couple, but they were sleeping. It seemed galing sila from a weekend trip, possibly Galera or Calatagan cause mukhang very tired sila - baka kakagising lang kaya wala pa sa full conciousness. But in any case, the situation should not have been taken advantage of...

A colleague was showing me this really neat SiS application (for Series 60 phones). Basically it's a webcam application. You install it on the S60 phone, turn on the Bluetooth, pair it with your notebook...

And the phone will become a wireless webcam, beaming live video to your notebook.

Can you imagine the possibilities... "oops, nahulog ko pala phone ko diyan sa ilalim ng desk mo" (to cute officemate)

Got a friend also who used to work for the old Panasonic Mobile factory in FPIP, Batangas. He shared that they used to be able to program their camera phones to take successive photos whilst receiving an incoming call. The possibility for surveliance was: you put the phone in silent mode and deploy it on the desired area. Give it a call and it captures photos. The technology though was never released...

There is actually some international legislation on camera phones, one of which requirse an audible "shutter" sound once a still photo is taken (though that one is insignificant when filming video).

an open question: if you were informed there was a site that existed of this would check it or ignore it? be honest? diba to a degree this is not to dissimilar from the vids taken of others in the act without their knowlege? i.e. paris vid? or britney?
