    cools lang jasprit!
Just remember, driving isn't a competition. You gain nothing (other than two seconds and a lot of blood pressure) from competing with other drivers on the road.

Lane-splitting bikers? Come on through... basta kasya ha.

Jeeps? Sige na nga. I'll have 2 gazillion more chances to overtake you anyway.

Buses? You'd be stuck in your congested lanes later.

Hazard-whores? Baka legit, sige na nga.

Wang-wangeros? I suggest a helicopter, but go ahead anyway.

Then again, most of the time I'd be cutting through the traffic in one of those big-ass Rotems.

its very difficult to drive the streets of metromanila. if the govt can just stop jeepneys from loading and unloading before and after a stoplight, milagro na yun at masolve siguro kasama kalahati ng problema ng pinas

from experience, no offense to you, i dont like motorcycle drivers. sabi nga sa quote sa itaas, bikes find it easier to weave in and out, pero actually, theyre cutting into other vehicles kasi nga maliit ang bike. in fact, siguro less than 10% ng bikes ang nagsisignal paglumulusot, and they pass both on the left and on the right. for cars, the rule is no passing on the right, pero seemingly, bikes dont follow this rule, or one way road signs, and i dont know kung may ganoong exception nga sa traffic laws.

Most drivers naman sa atin don't follow the smaller, less significant rules like no passing on the right, giving right of way, not crossing between lanes (for example, pag traffic masyado, 3 lanes can occupy 4 cars across), etc.

Actually here in the US, the motorbikes get in between the cars to move to the front of the pack, but, they mostly drive forward and not get in between cars na sumisingit. Given there is enough space between cars, it's also not a problem. However I also see them falling in line, queueing properly even, on occasion, and nobody cuts the vehicle behind those who queue para lang makasingit. In fact it's common here to see 5 cars in one lane on a stop light, kahit 2 lane highway siya or even 3. Yung mga sumisingit, they are frowned upon, at talagang nakakahiya dahil dito people obey the rules talaga (well, mostly). Of course di naman maiiwasan yung law breakers, pero kung within tolerable limits, ok lang naman. Thing is dyan kasi, people often break the law, kaya others think it is OK, when in fact, it isn't. Really.
