last year nag rollback sila ng 10% due to stronger peso 55 to 50=$1
nag anounce na sister company nila "maynilad" ng price reduction by early next year...
sana naman check din ng toll regulatory board kung pano mapababaan pa singil... 41=$1 hindi pa nag aadjust???

Oo nga naman.... dahil yung mga dating increase nila ay dahil daw sa pagtaas ng dolyar. Eh bakit ngayon mas mababa ay di sila mag rollback?

December 19th, 2007 10:51 AM #6Where do they source out their equipment and services anyways? If its from the states then yes, they ought to roll back because of the strong peso. If they're sourcing locally, then there's no reason the exchange rate should affect toll fees.

kailangan paba si presGMA ang manguna??? gaya last year sabay papogi"maynilad" nga being their sister company nag announce ng rate reduction sa water bill effective early next year...
mabigat na pasanin sa traders/commuters/motorist ang mataas na singil sa NLEX
lagi pa may "backjob" at traffic

Yup, sad to say that the toll fees are sticky going down....
Reasons why the toll fees were pegged that high were the regular amortization that they are paying because of the construction, and the maintenance of the road/facility.
I guess that the cost of the construction was the biggest chunk (and it was paid in dollars). So, logically the toll fee should go down too.
