it is clearly a traffic violation because for one, it obstructs oncoming traffic, and second, it endangers lives.

ang problem lang dito sa pilipinas is that it is really not enforced strictly.. in fact, most traffic aides (specially in the case of las pinas), encourages this.

The key my friend, is if an area is unfamiliar to you, stick with the book and not the vehicle in front of you. Otherwise take note of the enforcer's own custom-made system. In the Philippines, one stoplight is different to the next. Unfortunately this does not apply to high profile dudes.
    Agree ako dito.

Eto yun delicado pag may tumatawid na nakatingin sa right just before they cross the centerline not knowing may vehicle na parating sa left. But then again this wouldn't happen if they cross at the designated pedestrian crossing.

ang daming cases na ganito sa may corner ng domestic road and airport road (doon sa may caltex station). madalas may lumalabas na galing caltex turning left and going towards domestic airport, so pagbibigyan ng mga naka stop na vehicles going to NAIA, tapos ung mga nag c0-counter flow, obvious di makikita ung tatawid na sasakyan and likewise, ung mga tatawid, sa right titingin to avoid oncoming traffic and not the left where these stupid counter flowers pass. madalas mga mc naaaksidente, which they deserve.

Ugaling t*e kasi.

    yup, traffic violation yan.

sobrang delikado kapag may nagcounterflow. delikado na sa mga motorist at pati sa mga pedestrians.

sana patupad na mabuti yun no counterflow sa lahat ng lugar

Kasalanan din ng mga traffic cops/enforcers yan. Motorists develop a "counterflow mentality" since they authorize counterflows pag nag
tra-trapik sila especially during rush hours.
Ngayon ang nangyayari kahit walang parak/enforcer, kanya-kanya
na ring counterflow thinking or justifying to themselves that its "legal".
