Actually i'm not fond of the T plates either. Gusto ko nga yung V plates sa Region 4 or yung A plates up north; bad trip lang sa first registration after the 3 year period, you have to bring it first to the car's LTO "home" office.

Mayroon kami dati dalawang Toyota na sabay binili sa CASA back in the mid 1990s, U** 330 and U**331 yung plates.

Wala pa rin... Day 81 as of today. May balak yata silang i-match yung more than 1 year waiting time ng plates sa ibang probinsya.

But that's understandable since yung Audi may tax-related case sa BIR.

Another new car at the office got his plates last week, TO* pa rin siya.
vinj, when did your office purchase that new car that just received the TO*-*** plates?

No need to lose it. Simply turn it over to the LTO satellite office and tell them you want new replacement plates.

The only problem when you turn over BOTH plates to the LTO, your vehicle will be plate less until LTO can hand over the new plates. Which is like eternity.

Your Altis is from Manila Bay right?

Received the plates to our Altis after six weeks from delivery from Cubao (delivery date: 3/19/12). TQR-***

If memory serves me correctly, around March as well. Purchased from Toyota Quezon Ave. There's another unit purchased from Toyota Shaw which got its plates today but i have to check what the plates series is.

Yup, Toyota Manila Bay. I remember my neighbor's Fortuner also took an eternity to get it's plates from that same dealer but he got personalized plates. I got my Altis Friday before yours. :D

Our Vios is PWI ***. Got the plates after 2 months (Toyota Cubao). What humored me was that all the cars at home now have the same P plates.

Is there a chance na magkaroon ng duplicate (new) plate on some other (new) car in the future?
