Car Plates sa LTO Ubos na!

Hi! I got my new car last May 26 pa and I still don't have license plates nor my OR/CR. My dealer friend told me that there has been a delay in the operations of LTO. May mga newly assigned officials daw or something and Pasay area lang daw ang gumagalaw so sila lang ang nag-iissue ng plates recently. I don't know how true this is but if it's true mukhang matatagalan pa talaga ang issuance ng plates nga mga new cars.

Sa akin, two months na, wala pa ding OR/CR/plates/stickers. May binigay sa akin SA ko na document coming from LTO na onhold yung releasing ng plates. Nagrerequest ako sa kanya ng copies ng sales invoice with different dates for the whole month.

Problem ko lang is kapag nasita at makitang nasa 1K+ na ang odo reading.

What's the date on the LTO document re. the hold on release of plates? Care to share it online? The one i have is still from March this year.

Set your odometer to the trip meter and reset it from time to time to keep your meter reading at the 100-500km range.

Sa akin 3 months na exacto wala pa din plaka.
Pero may OR/CR na ako.
Ang sabi sakin ng SE ko 5 mos daw bago lumabas.
So wait pa ako until September.
PEro may nakapagsabi naman sakin na taga LTO mismo dapat daw 2 mos meron na kahit may bagong contractor sa LTO.
Sino kaya nagsasabi ng totoo sa kanila?

My friend and I got our new Montys in late May. She got her plates / OR-CR last week. TVI ***. Sakin, OR-CR pa lang. End of the month pa raw ang next release ng LTO sabi ng SA ko.

My friend got his plates after a week lang. Honda City. T*Q

Mukhang mabilis mag-process ang honda ng plaka.

sa akin naman 1 month and 5 days na kahit OR at CR wala pa. tinawagan ko dealer ko nun tuesday, kaka-release palang daw ng CSR(tama ba? ito yun intindi ko sa kanila eh) kaya lalakadin palang daw sa LTO ... FAIL!

I notice most of the ones here on a "long" wait for their new plates to arrive, are mostly Toyota owners.

Based on experience, Other car brands and even other Toyota dealers are quicker in releasing the complete set (plates, sticker, or/cr) at no more than 6 weeks from vehicle delivery date.

It appears to be a problem with the dealer processing the vehicle registration papers.

PS: Since this being Toyota, they probably charged you extra 2,500 or more for a specific end number. This is something I find unique to Toyota.

I didn't pay for anything. 3 or 4 requested ending ko.

From what i heard before, it probably has something to do with the way Toyota dealers batch their LTO processing. Couple that with the sheer volume of Toyotas sold, i'd bet it really piles up at the LTO office when they send in the papers for processing.

At least with my OR/CR, i got it after 2 weeks roughly. There's a stamp na "No plate ending available".

1.) Talagang mabilis mag-release ng plaka ang Honda, ano?

2.)Tsaka mukhang depende na rin sa dealer kung anong series ng plates makukuha mo.

1.) May nakasabay ako kanina, Honda City with yellow conduction sticker (meaning mas bago pa yung kotse niya kaysa saakin!) pero may plaka na siya. T-series nga lang.

2.) Yung kay Vinj, nakuha niya T-series. Tapos meron ako nakasabay kanina, TL yung conduction sticker at TK, UIB-*** na yung plates. Mas bago saakin so sana yung makuha ko U-series na rin! Pero wala eh. Still no signs maski OR/CR.

Got the OR/CR last week at Toyota Manila Bay. I asked as to when we can get hold of our plate, our SA showed me an innova same as ours with a TN011* conduction sticker, to my surpruse kakakuha palang niya yun palye niya that day while ours conduction stricker number is TN865*. cant imagine kung kailan pa kami magkakaroon ng plate

ito. yung malapit sa school namin. nasa 1-2 months na rin siguru siya may plate number.. :sweat:



may kapitbahay kami UIB din. fortuner tsikot niya. di kasi kami close kya nahihiya ako tanungin kung kelan niya nilabas yung fortuner niya, hehe :sweat:

On a side note, when we bought our Starex in 2005, kalalabas lang nung Z plates. We specifically told Hyundai E. Rod (Wheels) to make sure its the Z plates that we get. A week after the release of the van, we got the plates but it was still XT*. We returned it and the sales manager was able to change the plates to ZAA a week after. So all in all, it took us two weeks for that.
