430 pm today I Received an SMS message from my driver, he said they have been towed and brought to an area near SM Fairview. So I called him. He said they were in visayas avenue delivering our goods; when it was time to go medyo minalas naghard starting yung aming vehicle, wala pa daw 3 mins hinihigpitan lang niya yung battery these guys from J-M-F Towing services arrived at puwersahan ng isinara yung upuan ng L300(munik na daw maipit yung driver ko) at hinatak na nga daw yung sasakyan.. Of course I was fuming I was able to talk to the secretary of that cursed towing service and they were charging me P2500 para matubos ko yung sasakyan. (Ang nakakaasar pa neto ayos na yung sasakyan ko sabi ng driver ko minsan sinusumpong yung L300 namin kelangan lang pukpokin or something yung battery at aandar na he said 2 more mins kung binigyan siya ng time aandar talaga yun. At eto pa nakakainis wala pang isang kilometro kung san sila hinatak mula sa tindahan ko o sa mga suki kong mekaniko..Bakit pa nila kailangan dalhin sa Fairview.?

So I got myself ready to go to Fairview(kelangan ko pa nga mag rest kasi sang lingo nako inuubo as per may doctor’s advice, Kaasar talaga!!) As I was driving I called my buddies from Quezon city hall as I really want to do something about this extortion racket..My friend advised me to get the name of the biz, the names of the employees etc ok, and also advised ma na tubusin ko na kasi baka karnehin pa yung sasakyan ko. And he’ll deal with them the next day as it was already 530 at that time.

When I was approaching SM Fairview medyo naligaw pa ko so I asked the traffic guys of QC yung naka yellow sa tabi for direction. I told em I was looking for this F#$%%$ Towing service. The traffic guy immediatel responded ahh JMF? Naku ser walang papeles yang mga yan galing na ng manila yan lumipat dito sa QC(sabi pa niya ser tingnan niyo yung resibo pag tubos niyo manila yan), Sabi ko naman e bat di niyo hulihin, to which he replied ser mukhang malakas yan pinakamaganda niyan dalhin niyo nalang kay tulfo. WTF? (Tulfo for MAYOR na to kung ganun).

So as arrived to their place which was an empty lot located at Mindanao avenue cor Belpaz st . Saw many victims… err jeeps,taxis,and buses including my L300. Their manager approached me and told me yun nga daw electrical problem etc etc. I told him pare na tow na ko sa edsa dati naputulan ako ng timing belt mas malala yun. Dinala ako ng tow truck na yun sa talyer na paggagawan ng sasakyan ko saka ko binayaran ng sanlibo, ang pinagtataka ko sa inyo sa visayas avenue niyo hinila samantalang sa visayas avenue din ako nagpapagawa mas malapit bat kailangan niyo dalhin dito sa Fairview tapos ayan ayos na sasakyan ko meron lang kelangan higpitan niyari niyo parin!! The guy told me na hindi daw nagdadala ng resibo yung truck kaya kailangan dalhin sa opis kasi daw ina accuse daw sila ng extortion!!! Bwahahahahaha gusto kong tumawa ng malakas sabi ko e anong tawag mo dito??.He replied ser bawasan nalang natin yung babayaran P1000 nalang imbes na P2500. Ilalaban ko pa sana na wala dapat kaya lang may dumating na police car na may parang swat or yung darkblue na uniform kinausap yung mga empeyado dun, naisip ko baka ma kuratong ako. And it was getting dark na din so paid them, got the receipt and guess what J-M-F Towing service Road 10,Balut Tondo,Manila. Grabe kakapal ng mukha niyo!!

Hanggang ngayon nagiinit parin ulo ko. Kinukwento ng driver ko dun ako pa daw yung pinaka mura binayaran kasi yung iba jeepney at taxi drivers 1500 at 2000. Kawawa mga naghahanap buhay ng marangal tapos kakawartahan lang ng mga Hudas na to!!

I’ll wait for my friend’s call from city hall tomorrow and I hope they can do something about it. I want them all imprisoned, shot or hanged!!

i remember this towing service. it was originally located at tondo but because there where so many complaints against them including the barangay captain of the area so they were sent away.

Madami na palang nagrereklamo dito sa JMF towing na to pati dito sa tsikot!! Nakasuhan na rin ng carjacking last month, baket bukas pa..Talked to my friend in city hall and he told me, even if he refers me to an officer in city hall hindi daw guaranteed na tatrabahuhin, kelangan ko pa daw i monitor kaya safest daw is i media ko nalang kung gusto ko ng resulta!! P$%&$a para san ang binabayad ko na tax kung si Tulfo lang makatulong sa mga ganitong problema!!
As of now mainit parin ang dugo ko sa mga gagong to lalo na ng ikwento sakin ng driver ko na habang hinahatak daw sasakyan ko umaapela siya sabi ibabangga ko to at iiwan ko kayo kung di ka tumigil!!!

Guys san ba pwede to ireklamo na may resulta Im really willing to pursue this Ba$#*ds!!!

dati sa manila naman yung driver ko na tow din, ok lang kasi nag over heat at tumirik sa gitna ng avenida, but yung towing crew masyadong mayabang magsalita, sinabihan pa yung driver nung nakikiusap na "gusto mo tubuhin kita?"
Nung tinubos ko na sa impound tinuro sa akin nung driver ko yung mayabang... nung nilapitan ko at tinanong ko kung ano sinabi nya sa driver ko kanina... kala mo kung sinong mabait na "Wala po sir, sabi ko lang po sa opisina na lang makipagusap" .... told him susunod ikaw ang tutubuhin ko pag natyempuhan kita, kala mo kung sino ka... sige duntayo sa opisina at ng malaman ng boss mo... ayaw naman sumama... kahit pangalan ayaw ibigay...

Naku kung pwede lang, barilin mo yung gulong ng tow truck. Last time na may abusadong tow truck dito, yung mga kapitbahay namin (apartment complex) pinako lahat ng gulong. Ayun di na bumalik si mokong!

Just called the DPOS section of city hall sabi nila BAWAL ANG TOW TRUCK SA QC!! BAWAL MANGHILA SA QC!! So sabi ko visayas ave is QC, Fairview is still QC bat ganun. Sabi sakin sumbong nalang ako sa pulis o kaya this is the nth time KAY TULFO uli. Hindi daw sila nangagalaw ng towing kasi malaki daw ang ay hawak!!

As per my wifeys friend na reporter titingnan pa, di pa sure kasi depende din daw kung ok sa crew...will wait for her reply.

Kaya lang naman ako nanggigigil sa mga balatuba na to dahil masyado garapal yung ginawa nila sa driver at sasakyan ko, ngayon ko lang nalaman nasa parking lot pala sila hindi nakaharang sa kalsada. Nakita lang ng mga gago na may inaayos, pumasok agad sa loob at inagaw driver ko manibela. Tas sinampa agad.

AFAIK, non-accredited towing companies that conduct towing operations can now be charged with carnapping.

Kahit derecho nyo sa TMG reklamo, dami na nahuli TMG na carnapping cases with tow trucks.

The regulations regarding towing was already posted on another thread about towing. It states that they have to report it to the MMDA metrobase and must be entered in the log book. The regs also state that they have to honk the horn 5x, this is to notify the owner and allow him a chance to move the vehicle. But according to your story they just strongarmed the vehicle from your driver, which isn't much different from carjacking. I suggest you call the MMDA metrobase and find out if it's in the log book, if it's not then you can file a case of carnapping and extortion against the company. If it was in a private parking area and it was taken without your authority then it's carnapping and extortion, presuming the people that own the private parking area did not call them to have you towed.

Our vehicle was parked in the parking area of the establishment we were delivering water to.

Btw yesterday I made several calls to different people who I think may help me with this. And I have come to the conclusion na ang hirap pala pag naagrabyado sa Pilipinas. Imagine most people incl the DPOS of QC hall advised me to go to Tulfo or the media nalang para daw mabilis. Just made me wonder para san yung tax na binabayaran natin kung ganun? And this is just a towing problem...
