This is evil. Same as killing a pedestrian is better than just maiming daw. P12T lang ang babayaran? These people should be brought to court and pay more, even jail time and not allowed to drive anymore.

updated news as of Aug 24, 2009:

    8 dead, 41 injured in Lucena City when 2 buses collided . . .

15 injured in another bus accident in EDSA . . .

Bus crashes will remain as long as matter cannot occupy the same space, I'll give her that. As for bus crashes being "highlighted" though...

The only time we'd stop highlighting something is when it starts becoming normal. Then we take it for granted.

God forbid that bus crashes become "normal" and taken for granted.

She's always been a biased female dog that keeps on playing the victim card whenever these accidents happen. What's to be expected of her anyways? All she ever did was put a face to be recognized and focused on by people who think bus drivers are the spawn of satan.

    what a solution...

Pero yong mga Big Names like Victory, Partas, etc eh wala naman major accidents so far for the last few years.

Makes me think on how they hire drivers in their pool.

Among these northbound provincial buses, Victory, Partas, Genesis, Saulog, Dagupan, Viron, Maria DeLeon, Farinas, et cetera... Farinas Transit has the 'safest' fleet and Victory Liner as the opposite (maybe because they have the most number of units). Farinas Trans always employ 2 drivers per bus per trip to Ilocos, resulting in 6 to 8 hrs work by its drivers.
However, they also have the longest time on the road...

Also, provincial buses rarely scamper for passengers along the main Manila thoroughfares since they are normally packed when they leave their terminals. They can still be a bit of pain though since they normally drive outside of the yellow lanes, but I personally rarely had to give them a honk along EDSA.

The city buses are the ones that give me the most headaches during my day-to-day driving.

BUS accident again
