in fairness to the traffic enforcer, hindi siya nanghingi ng lagay or pangmerienda - which was what i was expecting.

it's just the traffic condition at that time that caused me para abutan ng yellow sa gitna ng intersection. 100% sure ako na nakalusot na ako bago mag-red kasi hindi pa umaandar yung mga vehicles galing sa kaliwa/kanan. di ko rin naman siya tatakbuhan kasi i know i am right, pero if ever tinakbuhan ko siya, mabagal ang mga sasakyan (which caused this whole scenario in the first place) kaya kahit tumakbo lang siya (literally), aabutan niya ako hehe.

sa monumento ilalim ng lrt ang mga traffic lights may timer. so you know how much time you still have. ang problema lang sa ganito baka abusuhin ng mga feeling racer - tulad yung ibang nababalitaan ko sa roxas boulevard. ginagawang "signal" yung timer ng traffic light for their impromptu races.

    Sir,

good that he didn't ask for lagay but the thing is these people don't even know how to drive and they invent traffic violations for one simple reason... money kasi as we all know a certain percentage of the fine goes to them as incentive, kaya panay ang imbento nila, beating the yellow light, sa pasay mahilig sila sa swerving, sa ortigas cor edsa fav nila stepping. dito sa v. mapa cor aurora they let the jeepneys swerve in and out of lines para pag ikaw na pakanan towards aurora ay inabot mo yung solid white line swerving agad.

Another "beating the yellow light" incident.

For me, this incident serves as a reminder na pag intersection (kahit walang traffic lights), dapat menor na agad tayo. Parang pedestrian lane kasi yan, we should always slow down.

    It happened to me twice.

    1. Pasay Rotonda
    2. Ayala - Buendia Intersection

Again,- it boils down to the unfair and inconsistent implementation of traffic rules and regulation.

only in PI......im surprised that everybody is actually siding your arguement.no wonder alot of pinoys dont follow traffic regulations.

first off....you were wrong to begin with and the cop was right.
why?...(you ask)a driver shouldnt try to squeeze his car in the middle lane trying to turn if there are oncoming traffic.it doesnt matter even if you have the green light(not green turn light).
its your duty to give way to the other cars(right of way) and only turn when your get the green light(green turn light) or the oncoming traffic is clear.
you already saw that there are some cars in the middle of the intersection trying to turn(in which its actually wrong since it will/can cause traffic jam) and you fully well know that jamming your car in the middle will only leave you hanging in the middle and wont have any choice to turn when the light turns yellow.
thats what the white solid lines are for across each intersection is for.you stop before the line and only cross traffic when its clear.not stop in the middle of the intersection.
