BDO....... WE find ways

Guys meron ba sa BDO na passbook and it can be used as an ATM din? (i mean may ATM card ka din with the same passbook account). Im thinking kasi na mag open ng passbook account sa BDO pero gusto ko may ATM din yun. Ayoko kasi separate account pa for passbook and ATM. (and imagine may 100 pesos fee pala pag nag withdraw ka over-the-counter sa ibang branch). if wala sa BDO nito, anong bank pwede nito? I heard kasi possible daw ito. Thanks guys!

Yes meron.P5,000.00 maintaining balance. Nung nabasa ko sa BDO mismo tong policy of charging 100 or 200 napailing na lang ako.

I have a friend. who recieved a blank billing from bdo. but she knows she has monthly payment, so she still kept on paying the monthly charge ontime. then one day, she recieved a penalty fee on the latest bill for not paying on time...

I do have a BDO card and an active online account. Would they also charge for inter-region account fund transfers?

I also asked the call center of BDO, they said BDO online access or internet banking do not have charges when you make transfer of funds whether interregional or local.

Actually being practical, there's lot of bdo branches and atm machines so better to open at BDO still. If you want you can open PASSBOOK WITH ATM, same account number. Yes they are already charging for interbranch withdrawal so might as well open a passbook with atm, if you have large amount of withdrawals you use your passbook. The maximum withdrawal in atm is 50,000pesos, 25,000 per withdrawal. So it's very convenient.

You can also open at BPI, I think you can withdraw any branch also but I dont know if they don't charge because I dont have a BPI account. But I know they don't have passbook anymore, only atm.

weird, I have been depositing bdo as payment to the people I order stuff. but today while depositing for two people for payment of PC parts. one of them had 50 pesos deduction.

hindi naba sapat yung 50 charge sa akin? kinalasan pa yung isa na pinadalhan ko?

napansin ba ninyo every pay day offline almost all atm ng bdo lalo na dito sa makati area? yesterday from masinag , c5 libis all the way to makati and the atm at their makati ave/ayala branch offline. hay network daw pero pagdating ko ng office wala naman problema sa network nila...oh well

parang sari-sari stores na lang ang BDO sa dami ng branches nila, halos magkakatabi na eh...

sa Binondo Quintin Paredes street 3 branches ng BDO ang meron.

Kasi yung isa duon EPCI dati... Anyway dami namang client dyan sa Binondo area so yung 3 na yun might not even be enough...

Why do people still open Passbook accounts? It's always been a wonder to me in this day and age of modern banking.

Para sa malalaking transaction. If you need to widraw 100k or more di pwede sa isang atm account.

Not all people have internet access at home, so they need passbooks.

Businessmen won't go to ATMs to withdraw money. You must be very brave to be able to withdraw 100K from an ATM.

for savings account concurrently used in your checking transactions, easier to check if you have sufficient funds, you just have to present your passbook to update and no need to wait for your bank statement..

you can withdraw max of 50k daily per card (having two cards would mean 100k and so on).

But anyway, the usual atm withdrawal limit is 20k daily but you can withdraw from the teller using the withdrawal slip if you want to get money beyond that amount.

*AI, you can check your account transaction history online too.

Bagamat walang nakapaskil na system under maintenance, kapag sinubukang gamitin ang sebrisyo tulad ng balance inquiry at withdrawal ay sasabihin ng machine na pinoproseso nito ang transaksyon.

Ngunit matapos ang isa hanggang tatlong minuto ay hindi pa tapos ang transaksyon at ilalabas nito ang card at nakalagay na transaction complete kahit nakita ang balance o walang lumabas na pera.

Hindi rin magamit ang online at mobile banking kaya ang mga customer ay hindi matiyak kung nabawasan ang kanilang pera.

Ngunit maaari namang makapag-withdraw gamit ang BDO card sa pamamagitan ng ATM ng ibang bangko.
