Dami nga pumaparada sa kalsada namin pero hindi ako kasama doon sa pumaparada sa labas dahil nakakaperwisyo nga ng kapitbahay. Kaya nga ganito ako magkapagsalita dahil tingin ko mali nga ang ginagawa nila. Tandaan mo yun, isipin mo muna kung nakakaperwisyo ka ng kapitbahay bago gagawin mo.

Ika nga "prerogative" ng driver kung paatras o paharap sya pumarada. Wala naman tama doon eh. Yung kapitbahay ko kaya paatras dahil di kaya nga paharap pumarada dahil may kotse sa tapat.

Ulitin ko lang ha, mali nga kapitbahay mo kung sinigawan ka man na umalis ka doon sa pinaparadahan mo pero di ka rin dapat doon pumaparada dahil nga mahihirapan nga sya lumabas sa garahe nya.

Baka dinaanan mo rin sa init ng ulo mo kaya pinagalitan ka.

Tutal ni-raise mo ang issue ng right of way, pagusapan natin dito para maging educational itong thread na ito.

Subukan lang natin i-relate dito, na palagay ko di naman dapat dahil wala ka naman sa intersection or moving traffic. Nabasa ko nga yun kay yebo at tama naman na public domain ang kalsada kaya nga ang right of way ay "exercised in a reasonable manner". Batas kontra courtesy lang naman ito. Panalo nga batas palagi. Sana di naman ang mentality mo na porque mananalo ka sa batas, ibig sabihin tama ang ginawa mo.

Di ka naman sinigawan ng kapitbahay mo so naki-usap lang pala sa iyo na tanggalin mo sasakyan mo dahil nahihirapan sya ilabas ang sasakyan nya. Courtesy lang naman diba?

Kwento nga ng officemate ko na may ganoon rin nanyari sa kapitbahay nila sa may kapitolyo. Nakita nung may-ari ng sasakyan na nakaparada sa tapat na flat ang apat na gulong nya at puro gasgas ang pintura ng kotse nya gawa nung kapitbahay pero walang nag-sumbong.

Yan ang bad-trip na kapitbahay.

hmm.. with regards to bad trip na kapitbahay, may ganyan din kami. sa tapat pa namin mismo. retired folks na who are a bit grumpy.

everyday, they put three large plants in front of their gate so discourage anyone from using their drive way. what happens is that all vehicles who have to do a three point turn end up using our drive way.. even the taxis that our neighbors themselves ride on everytime they come home.

naturally, this pisses the hell out of me but I take everything in stride. through the years, the number of times they had to replace these potted plants have numbered into the dozens. and for one reason or another, nababasag mga 'to. I, on occasions, have taken the liberty of relieving myself on these plants coming home drunk from gimiks.

I just tell myself, "may oras din sila..."

since this is all about bad trip na kapitbahay, let me share mine. we live in a three door apartment where we are renting the first door. initially the person who's living at the end/3rd door of the compound has a car. since both of us have vehicles, we decided to talk who's gonna park in the garage although kasya naman kami pareho. he doesn't want to bother bringing in the his car since marami pa da syang aayusin in front of their unit daw. in short, since ako nasa first door, akin nalang daw ang pumasok lagi. kainis lang kasi everytime na uuwi ako at nakapark na sya in front of the gate, kailangan ko pa sya tawagin para lang iurong ang car nya. isa pang nakakainis is that kapag ginagabi kami ng uwi ng family ko coming from the province, hindi ko na maipasok kasi nakaharang na sya. ano ba naman yung ipark nya sa may gilid ng gate para mabuksan ko yung garage. isa pa, one time na umuwi kami around 1 am, nakita namin na bukas pa ilaw ng unit nila, so one of the yaya's of my anak went to knock on their door para sabihan na iurong yung sasakyan. to our surprise nung kumatok na sa door nila, biglang pinatayan ng ilaw yung yaya ng anak ko then patay-malisya na walang nangyari. so i had to park it outside the compound knowing the fact na baka may magnakaw ng sidemirrors ko or even worse ma-carnap... grrr... it really pisses me off. kung tutuusin, kasya naman ang dalawang vehicle sa loob ng garage. ewan ko kung bakit ayaw nyang ipasok.... good thing walang nangyayari in the middle of the night na emergency kundi pahirapan pang gisingin yung kapitbahay.

Sino nagsabi syo di ako sinigawan pagalit nga ako pinaalis eh at hindi din nya sinabi na hindi nya kaya ialis. Pinaalis ako kasi di daw ako pwede dun dahil sakop pa daw nya yun.

Di ko na lang pinatulan kasi nasa baba ang asawa at anak ko pero kung nagmura sya ibang usapan na yun, pasigaw lang naman kaya no harm no foul.

Tinanggal ko naman yung car ko at hindi na ako dun nagpaparada pero yung kapatid nya sa tapat ko nagpaparada kaya ok lang kasi di naman sa akin yung tapat nang bahay ko.

Uulitin ko yung sa akin lang pwede naman sabihin nang maayos kung hindi talaga kaya bat naman ako dun magpaparada pareho tayo driver at siguro alam naman natin kung kaya o hindi.

My neighbor pisses me off too!!!

We live on the side of the street where the fire hydrant is located. The policy: do not park on that side of the road... (dont ask, but thats the rule) anyway, this guy keeps on parking right infront of the fire hydrant, which is actually up in the frontyard, between our houses... There been so many times that I'm tempted to call the Firemen (coz I know this will irk them) but I dont... I just cant wait when there is actually a fire and they have to break his window (Jeep Cherokee pa naman) just so they can get to the fire hydrant.... hey! that will be my revenge!!! :D

We own a house and our house is located at the dead end of our street. % of our neighbors file a complain against us, that we are parking our van in front of our house. and that we transformed our front lawn as our garage which is obviously not. There are no access on that road ti will only lead to the river. We are not disturbing any properties nor blocking any of their driveway. Now 5 of my neighbors are going crazy about this. They are telling us that we are not allowed to park our van in front of our house. It is pretty stupid actually but I am looking for a legal code for property owners that has the same situation as ours. Thanks guys hope you can help me...
