Another reason pa kung bakit nagsisiksikan sa inner lane is, yung mga nasa right of way (outer) eh hindi naman tumitigil derecho pa rin ang flow. Inner lane lang lagi ang nagbibigay.

I find this practice weird nga. Di hamak na mas madali para sakin na nasa outer lane lalo na kapag may stoplight naman yung nililikuan. At least yung mga motorists na lang sa left side ang binabantayan mo habang lumiliko, di ba? And bigger turning radius--less turns of the steering wheel.

^heavy traffic pala...i dont see the point of having a short distance in between vehicles.
i usually leave a decent amount of space pag heavy traffic.

Im not asking for one to tailgate. Siguro 1 car gap okay na pero yung tipong 1 bus na yung pagitan mo sa harap mo eh OA naman na ata za distansiya yun.

the older volvo might just be being driven by a retired ninja... you know... prefers older cars.. slower reflexes..
pagbigyan nyo na... who knows... faster than you can hold your breath... kayo na yung nagmamaneho ng 2015 camry... in the year 2055..! at dalawang haba ng bus ang partida ninyo!

Bros,- exactly the reason why the traffic law to "Keep The Intersection Open" is a hopeless 'proposition' in our country!

Iyan ang major major cause ng gridlock dito sa Pilipinas... Kahit na stop na ang linya mo,- pasok pa rin,- kahit nakaharang ka na sa intersection.... Tapos chain reaction na sa lahat ng sasakyan kapag nagpalit na ng ilaw ang traffic light.... Buhul-buhol na ang trapik!

but how many of us can really avoid changing lanes while turning, without the aid of lane dividers painted onto the road surface?

The subdivisions where our house is have well-maintained streets. The painted dashes are very clear (even reflectorized for nighttime). I would guess the kid was too busy listening to her music or perhaps, she was probably texting. We don't have an anti-texting law here in Arizona yet.

I hope she learned a lesson. It's not a good idea to piss off some drivers around here. Me? I'm old enough to have a wee bit of sense and not escalate things further. But, some drivers here have much shorter tempers and they're armed. You never know if they'll snap.
