This is absolutely correct! In cases like this, it is always ASSumed that the driver behind is at fault, even if he were stopped. Why? well firstly. again, it is ASSumed that NO DRIVER WILL MOVE HIS VEHICLE IN THE WRONG DIRECTION or IN REVERSE. Secondly, it is ASSumed that the driver behind will keep a good 2-3 meter or half a cars length clearance from the vehicle in front. And Lastly, it is ASSumed, in this case, that the driver behind had moved his vehicle before the guy in front, thence, ikaw ang naka-bangga at hindi inatrasan. Unless you have witnesses to contradict this.
This rule may be stupid but like everybody says..."The LAW IS THE LAW".

I'm not taking sides here, it's just the fact. We, as responsible drivers, should take actions to defer incidents and inconveniences like this, even if other WILL NOT. Next time, keep a good safe distance, escpecially if the vehicle in front has a limited vision.

cya pa malakas ang loob na kesyo daw ba bat ako umatras sabi ko di ako umatras medyo incline un syempre pag buwelo ka may konting atras yun

pagdating ng pulis malakas pa rin ang loob nya pinipilit ang gusto pagpunta namin sa presinto umatras kasi sabi ko kung pagpilitan mo yang gusto mo pa hold nating dalawa lisensya natin ako hindi ko kailangan ng kotse para mabuhay pamilya ko at hindi ito related sa work ko

tapos yun cya din smuko kasi natakot at ito pa "sorry, pero ala ko pera pang mabayd sa damage eh, mahina pa kita ko". hay buti na lang at gasgas lang at worth 800 pesos nagastos ko

tsk tsk kaya pag may public utility vehicle sa harapan ko i always keep my distance kahit traffic pa or bumper to bumper

same thing happened to me twice.

first time sa may las pinas. trapik. atras yung kotse sa harapan ko. di yata namalayan ng driver, ayun bag... baba yung driver, galit! ako raw may kasalanan. baba ako at mga kasama ko, madami kami. at sinabi naming siya ang umatras at binusinahan pa. sa dami namin, 5 yata kami nun, di na siya pumalag. ala din naman gasgas sa bumper ko. heheh

second time, sa may edsa naman, malakas ang ulan, yung vios sa harap namin, umaatras din. busina't ilaw, di napansin, blag! at di yata talaga napansin kasi tumuloy ang andar pagkatapos ng incident. hinabol namin ng kasama ko. dalawa din kami nun, di na pumalag yung driver, na kasama yata ang gf nya. buti na lang may insurance kami pareho.

Oops...di ko naisip yun. Anyway maraming din motorist na nakitang umaatras kana from a parking slot pilit pa rin humahabol. Same goes with pedestrian, sila pa ang galit.
